Accountabilities:
- Lead a team of software engineers by providing technical direction, mentorship, and continuous guidance to support team growth and engineering excellence.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions and development strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using React, JavaScript technologies, and modern frontend practices.
- Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code while ensuring strong performance and reliability.
- Develop unit tests and maintain high-quality engineering standards, including strong test coverage and automated validation practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and clients to deliver impactful software solutions.
- Optimize applications for security, scalability, and performance improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve existing system issues while maintaining application stability.
- Participate in code reviews, version control processes, and software delivery workflows.
- Provide project updates, communicate technical progress, and maintain alignment with stakeholders.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve development practices and platform capabilities.
- Support technical hiring activities by assessing candidates and contributing to engineering team growth.
- Continuously improve technical skills and encourage knowledge sharing across the engineering organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to mentor engineers and influence technical decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript technologies and modern frontend development.
- Strong experience building user interfaces with HTML and CSS.
- Hands-on experience developing applications with ReactJS, Redux, and Context API.
- Experience working with design systems and component libraries such as Material-UI, Atomize, or similar solutions.
- Understanding of accessibility standards, security practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience writing unit tests and maintaining high test coverage standards.
- Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, and other software collaboration and project management tools.
- Basic understanding of backend technologies and software architecture concepts.
- Flexible, adaptable mindset with the ability to work across different technical challenges.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to provide technical leadership within a team.
