This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner Seguros (SR) based in Brazil.

This is a senior Product Owner opportunity within the insurance sector, focused on strategic projects, regulatory initiatives, and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with business, technology, and underwriting teams to translate priorities into structured, measurable outcomes.

The role involves managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, often under strict deadlines and service-level commitments.

You will help optimize processes, identify root causes, monitor execution, and ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives.

Strong stakeholder management and communication will be essential as you coordinate diverse teams and provide clear progress reporting.

The position offers meaningful exposure to insurance products, operations, technology, and transformation initiatives.

It is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys solving complex problems and driving tangible business improvements.

Accountabilities:

    • Collaborate across projects and continuous-improvement initiatives, ensuring business priorities are addressed and internal stakeholder needs are supported effectively.
    • Lead regulatory demands and strategic projects, particularly initiatives involving strict and non-negotiable deadlines.
    • Establish and maintain project management standards, ensuring consistent governance, documentation, and execution practices.
    • Manage multiple projects and improvement initiatives simultaneously, from planning and development through implementation and closure.
    • Develop project budgets and timelines in partnership with technology teams and insurance underwriting/business areas.
    • Plan, structure, and improve operational processes while monitoring execution and identifying opportunities for optimization.
    • Track project milestones, SLAs, deadlines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
    • Monitor operational issues, investigate root causes, and coordinate corrective actions through to resolution.
    • Identify and communicate quantitative and qualitative project benefits in a clear, structured, and measurable way.
    • Organize project documentation and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Prepare and deliver status reports and support the development of management and project-tracking reports.
    • Facilitate collaboration between business, technology, and other stakeholders to keep initiatives aligned and moving forward.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Law, Actuarial Science, Technology, or a related field.
      • Previous experience within the insurance industry, ideally in product management, operations, project management, or continuous improvement.
      • Solid understanding of the insurance lifecycle, from sales through claims settlement, with knowledge of insurance products, policies, and general conditions.
      • Proven experience managing projects and applying agile methodologies such as Lean, Scrum, Kanban, or Design Thinking.
      • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
      • Experience with Azure DevOps and project-tracking tools.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify issues and drive root-cause resolution.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
      • Hands-on, proactive approach with strong ownership and leadership capabilities.
      • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
      • Ability to manage competing priorities, work under tight deadlines, and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
      • MBA or postgraduate qualification is desirable.
      • Experience in the Transport insurance segment and dashboard development is considered an advantage.
      • Benefits:

        • Food allowance and/or meal voucher.
        • Access to SESI and SESC programs, including health, well-being, leisure, and lifestyle services.
        • Partnerships with educational institutions offering exclusive discounts on courses and educational programs.
        • Opportunities for professional growth and participation in strategic projects.
        • Opportunity to contribute to initiatives within a growing and expanding market environment.
        • Exposure to cross-functional projects spanning insurance, technology, operations, and process improvement.
