Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager based in the United States.

This remote Project Manager role leads complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through successful completion.

You’ll manage projects spanning technology infrastructure, regulated operations, software implementations, and organizational change.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, stakeholder management, risk control, and continuous improvement.

You’ll work across internal teams, vendors, clients, and technical partners to align resources and deliver measurable business outcomes.

You’ll also help administer and evolve project management and change-control platforms, including workflows, dashboards, reports, and user support.

The environment values collaboration, accountability, innovation, regulatory discipline, and high-quality customer service.

This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide initiatives while strengthening project governance, technology processes, and team performance.

Accountabilities

    • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and completion of multiple concurrent and enterprise-wide projects across functional and organizational boundaries.
    • Develop project methodologies, work plans, schedules, tracking systems, governance structures, and documentation aligned with business requirements and organizational standards.
    • Establish project teams, identify stakeholders, define roles and responsibilities, allocate resources, delegate activities, and foster effective cross-functional collaboration.
    • Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, milestones, deliverables, and performance, making adjustments and escalating roadblocks as needed.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, third parties, and project team members, managing expectations and maintaining clear communication.
    • Identify, analyze, and resolve project issues and conflicts while facilitating decision-making and ensuring project objectives remain aligned with business priorities.
    • Manage organizational change-control workflows and ensure adherence to established change-management processes throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Review project requests, proposals, specifications, business processes, and requirements, providing recommendations based on scope, priorities, and expected outcomes.
    • Coordinate internal resources and external vendors throughout project execution and ensure deliverables and effectiveness criteria are achieved.
    • Lead project closeout activities, including documentation, project summaries, lessons learned, effectiveness evaluations, and archival of project records.
    • Administer and continuously improve project management and change-control software, including system configuration, templates, workflows, dashboards, reports, and user structures.
    • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with IT teams and software vendors, and support patches, upgrades, backup, and recovery processes.
    • Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, procedures, and support resources while providing training and ongoing assistance to end users.
    • Promote continuous improvement, operational excellence, industry best practices, and innovation within areas of responsibility.
    • Maintain current knowledge of project management methodologies, technologies, industry developments, and professional standards through ongoing learning and professional networking.
    • Provide leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and support to project team members while fostering collaboration, accountability, and positive team dynamics.
    • Ensure all activities comply with internal procedures, applicable regulations, quality requirements, and confidentiality standards.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree required.
      • At least 3 years of project management experience, including experience with information technology infrastructure, regulated laboratory operations, and/or software application implementations.
      • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential required within one year.
      • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, research techniques, program analysis, and report preparation.
      • Understanding of general business and management practices, business systems support, and operational controls.
      • Strong analytical, statistical, organizational, and complex problem-solving capabilities.
      • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and work effectively with employees and management at all levels.
      • Strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and customer-service skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
      • Strategic and independent thinking, sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
      • Experience configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting software applications, as well as training end users.
      • Preferred experience with enterprise business applications and system development lifecycle models.
      • Experience in software development, advisory, or professional services is advantageous.
      • Agile Project Management certification is preferred.

        • Full-time employment with a first-shift schedule.
        • Professional development and opportunities to expand project management, technology, and change-management expertise.
        • Exposure to enterprise-wide technology, regulated operations, and cross-functional initiatives.
        • Supportive, collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
        • Opportunities to work with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and diverse stakeholders.
        • Applicable benefits and employment programs provided in accordance with organizational policies and eligibility requirements.
