Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Development Account Manager based in United States.

This role focuses on generating new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and clinical research services market.

You’ll identify and qualify prospective clients, build early-stage relationships, and create a strong pipeline of opportunities for the sales organization.

The position combines strategic prospect research, outbound communication, lead nurturing, and appointment setting.

You’ll engage with prospects through email, phone, conferences, and targeted campaigns to understand their needs and generate interest.

Working closely with sales, marketing, and other internal teams, you’ll ensure qualified leads move efficiently through the business development process.

You’ll also contribute to early client presentations and RFP engagement while maintaining accurate CRM information and follow-up activities.

This is an opportunity to grow your commercial career in a global, collaborative environment focused on improving outcomes across healthcare and life sciences.

Accountabilities:

    • Generate and pre-qualify new leads using available company resources, programs, databases, and sales tools.
    • Research target accounts and identify relevant prospects through multiple systems and data sources.
    • Reach out to qualified prospects by email and phone to generate interest and create new business opportunities.
    • Develop and execute pre- and post-conference outreach campaigns and follow-up activities.
    • Follow up on marketing-generated website leads and convert high-potential prospects into qualified opportunities.
    • Support targeted email campaigns aligned with strategic sales and business development objectives.
    • Ensure qualified leads are transferred to the appropriate sales team members with complete profiles, sources, action items, follow-up dates, and relevant information.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other departments on business development strategies and initiatives.
    • Support the wider Sales and Business Development team in achieving new business and revenue targets.
    • Schedule prospect and client appointments and participate in meetings or presentations as required.
    • Prepare and lead early-stage client engagement presentations to support RFP opportunities.
    • Maintain organized and timely follow-up throughout the prospecting and qualification process.
    • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual performance targets.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
      • Demonstrated experience in an inside sales role within a CRO, pharmacovigilance organization, clinical research services provider, or related healthcare vendor.
      • Experience in new business development, prospecting, lead nurturing and qualification, and appointment setting.
      • Good understanding of Phase I-IV clinical development and the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
      • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM and sales automation platforms.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely by phone and email.
      • Strong drive, determination, and commercial focus, with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
      • Adaptable, professional, motivated, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
      • Strong listening and discovery skills, with the ability to identify customer pain points and business challenges.
      • Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and maintain attention to administrative details.
      • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with prospects, clients, and internal stakeholders.
      • Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
      • Benefits:

        • Training and career development opportunities.
        • Strong emphasis on personal and professional growth.
        • Friendly and supportive working environment.
        • Opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across Europe, North America, Asia, and other global locations.
        • International working environment with English as the primary company language.
        • Human-centric culture focused on employee experience, well-being, and work-life balance.
        • Inclusive environment that values diversity, equity, belonging, and collaboration.
        • Opportunity to contribute to healthcare and life sciences initiatives that can positively impact patients’ lives.
        • Exposure to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical development, pharmacovigilance, and related healthcare markets.
