This role offers the opportunity to own a specialized recognition-products sales portfolio within a healthcare-focused environment.
You will engage directly with physicians, dentists, hospitals, and practice leaders who have received professional recognition.
Your mission will be to turn that recognition into tangible products, digital assets, licensing opportunities, and repeat purchases.
You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting newly recognized professionals through closing, renewals, and relationship development.
The role combines consultative selling, account management, business development, and strategic collaboration across internal teams.

Accountabilities
- Achieve and exceed established individual and team sales targets across recognition products and services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities among newly recognized physicians, dentists, hospitals, and healthcare organizations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, product education, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and follow-up.
- Educate customers and healthcare organizations on available recognition products, licensing guidelines, and appropriate use of recognition assets.
- Sell a portfolio that may include plaques, framed certificates, desktop awards, digital badges, website seals, logo licensing, social media kits, and patient-facing marketing materials.
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue from existing and past customer relationships.
- Manage renewal, repeat-purchase, and annual recognition cycles to encourage long-term customer engagement.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop integrated proposals and customer solutions.
- Monitor and report campaign and sales performance, using insights to improve conversion and revenue generation.
- Maintain accurate account information, sales activity, and customer records within CRM systems.
- Conduct ongoing competitive research and benchmarking to identify market opportunities and improve sales positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing, research, and other departments on customer initiatives and commercial opportunities.
- Contribute ideas for new recognition products and support their development and execution.
- Provide polished, responsive, and consultative customer service while managing a large and varied account portfolio.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education.
- 1-3 years of demonstrated sales experience with a proven record of achieving results; experience selling to healthcare professionals or organizations is preferred.
- Prior direct sales experience with the ability to prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, and close business independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the professionalism and confidence to engage physicians, dentists, hospital administrators, and practice managers.
- Excellent organization and account-management skills, with the ability to manage numerous opportunities and customer relationships simultaneously.
- Strong customer-service orientation and the ability to build trust through consultative, high-touch interactions.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to independently develop and execute sales plans.
- Comfortable working toward measurable targets and responding effectively to pressure and changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work and consistently meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business productivity tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM platform is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while also working independently.

- Competitive base salary of $50,000-$60,000, with individual compensation determined by experience, capabilities, education, training, and business performance.
