You will lead a 50+ person engineering organization across multiple customer-facing product areas.
The role combines organizational leadership, product strategy, technical execution, and investment prioritization.
You will coach engineering managers and senior leaders while strengthening leadership capabilities and organizational health.
Working closely with Product and Design, you will translate strategy into reliable, high-quality experiences for customers worldwide.
You will also scale the systems, processes, and practices that help teams plan effectively, deliver consistently, and learn quickly.

Accountabilities
- Lead a 50+ person Talent Engineering organization spanning multiple engineering teams, managers, and customer-facing product areas.
- Make thoughtful tradeoffs across customer needs, product priorities, engineering investment, quality, reliability, and scalability.
- Coach and develop Engineering Managers and senior engineering leaders, raising the bar for leadership, execution, accountability, and organizational health.
- Partner closely with Product and Design leadership to define, prioritize, and execute product strategy and roadmaps focused on measurable customer outcomes.
- Ensure teams deliver reliable, high-quality products while maintaining an effective pace of innovation and development.
- Represent the engineering organization in discussions with key customers and prospects, providing technical and product perspective where needed.
- Collaborate with broader engineering leadership to establish department-wide strategies, goals, and operating practices.
- Scale planning, delivery, and organizational systems that enable multiple teams to operate effectively and continuously improve.
- Allocate engineering resources across competing product priorities and ensure investments are aligned with business and customer needs.
- Help identify and explore opportunities where AI can enhance product experiences and transform how organizations develop their people.
- 10+ years of engineering management experience, including at least 5 years leading organizations with multiple engineering teams and layers of leadership.
- Proven experience managing engineering investment across a portfolio of customer-facing products and making effective decisions when resources and priorities are constrained.
- Strong track record of delivering high-quality products where customer trust, reliability, scalability, and performance are critical.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop engineering leaders, including Engineering Managers and senior individual contributors.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Design teams to deliver compelling customer experiences.
- High degree of autonomy, ownership, sound judgment, and strategic thinking, with the ability to operate with an enterprise-wide mindset.
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Design, and senior company leadership.
- Strong organizational and operational skills, with experience improving planning, execution, team effectiveness, and leadership practices.
- Curiosity about AI and a clear interest in understanding how emerging AI capabilities can improve people and talent management.
- Ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on leadership, execution, and organizational development.
- Estimated annual cash compensation of CAD $270,000-$360,000.
