This is a fully remote opportunity for a highly skilled eLearning developer with expert-level Articulate Storyline 360 capabilities.
You will independently transform storyboards and concepts into sophisticated, highly interactive learning experiences.
The role combines advanced eLearning development with strong UI/UX, visual design, animation, and multimedia expertise.
You will build complex scenarios, simulations, branching experiences, and custom web-based interactions.
The position also requires strong technical knowledge of accessibility, LMS/SCORM standards, and quality assurance.
You will work collaboratively with instructional designers, project managers, and creative and technical professionals while operating with a high degree of independence.
Experience with AI, GenAI, and automation tools will help drive more efficient and innovative approaches to learning development.
Accountabilities:
- Design and develop advanced L3/L4 eLearning experiences using Articulate Storyline 360, from storyboard interpretation through final delivery.
- Build complex scenarios, branching interactions, simulations, and other highly interactive learning experiences.
- Translate concepts and storyboards into engaging, visually polished learning solutions with minimal supervision.
- Apply strong UI/UX, visual design, animation, and motion design principles throughout the development process.
- Create, integrate, and troubleshoot custom web-based interactions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensure learning experiences meet WCAG accessibility standards and relevant technical requirements.
- Prepare, test, and troubleshoot courses for LMS and SCORM deployment.
- Conduct detailed visual, functional, and technical quality assurance to ensure a polished final product.
- Independently troubleshoot complex development challenges and identify creative, effective solutions.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, project managers, and other creative and technical team members as needed.
- Explore and apply emerging AI, GenAI, and automation tools to improve development workflows and learning production efficiency.
- Expert-level experience with Articulate 360, particularly Storyline 360, and a strong track record of developing advanced L3/L4 eLearning.
- Proven experience creating scenario-based, branching, simulation-driven, and highly interactive learning experiences.
- Strong UI/UX and visual design capabilities, with a solid understanding of animation and motion design principles.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including experience developing custom web-based interactions.
- Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility requirements and accessible eLearning development practices.
- Solid knowledge of SCORM standards and LMS environments, including course preparation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent visual QA skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve functional or technical issues.
- Ability to independently interpret storyboards, visualize the intended learner experience, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- Strong troubleshooting, creative problem-solving, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience using AI or GenAI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar solutions within an eLearning workflow is highly valued.
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lectora, xAPI, or cmi5 is a plus.
- Experience with AI-generated images or video, automation, or AI-assisted development workflows is also desirable.
- Annual salary of $65,000-$75,000.
