Senior Full Stack Engineer – C# & Angular

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer - C# & Angular based in India.

This is a senior engineering opportunity with a strong focus on backend development, performance, and scalable software solutions. You’ll work with an established UK-based business operating in the global golf membership technology space. The role combines hands-on development with architectural thinking, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business and user needs into reliable technology solutions. You’ll also contribute to technical support and help shape future technology choices. As an experienced engineer, you’ll have opportunities to mentor colleagues while expanding your own technical capabilities. The position offers a fully remote working environment with structured hours and a strong emphasis on long-term professional growth.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend applications using C# and .NET, with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Investigate and resolve technical challenges related to application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, technology, and other cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Provide second- and third-line technical support, troubleshooting complex issues and helping maintain business-critical systems.
• Contribute to strategic architecture discussions, technology selection, and the evolution of the overall technical landscape.
• Understand broader business and user needs, proactively identifying opportunities to improve products, processes, and technical solutions.
• Share technical knowledge and experience with colleagues while mentoring other engineers and supporting their development.
• Stay adaptable and continuously explore new technologies, development practices, and approaches that can improve engineering outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing software with C# and .NET 6.0 Web API.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with SQL Server.
• At least 1 year of experience with Angular and Next.js.
• Working knowledge of Azure and cloud-based development environments.
• Experience integrating software systems using technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to understand the wider business context, identify improvement opportunities, and translate user needs into practical technical solutions.
• A proactive, pragmatic, and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and contribute meaningfully to team objectives.
• Willingness to mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
• Openness to learning new technologies and adapting to evolving technical requirements.
• Experience with Redis or other NoSQL technologies is an advantage.
• Experience with Hangfire or other asynchronous job-processing systems is a plus.
• Additional Azure or cloud-platform experience is beneficial.
• Solid experience with software architecture and architectural decision-making is desirable.
