This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Implementation Manager, Office of Interoperability based in United States.
The Senior Implementation Manager will lead the implementation of EHR functionality and capabilities that enable the secure electronic exchange of clinical data. The role has a strong focus on supporting interoperability initiatives and accelerating compliance with evolving federal healthcare regulations. You will work across business, clinical, compliance, technology, legal, vendor, and customer teams to deliver solutions that meet operational and regulatory needs. The position also contributes to business and go-to-market strategies while coordinating technical enablement across multiple EHR platforms. Success requires strong program leadership, healthcare interoperability expertise, and the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments. This is an opportunity to influence technology, processes, and workflows that improve clinical data exchange at scale. The role is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the deployment of EHR functionality and capabilities supporting electronic clinical data exchange, with emphasis on interoperability and federal regulatory compliance.
- Partner with providers, customers, end users, and internal stakeholders to ensure implementations address business, clinical, technical, and regulatory requirements.
- Shape business and go-to-market strategies related to interoperability initiatives and technical enablement across multiple EHR platforms.
- Build business cases and support portfolio-level planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with technology product owners during PI planning and execution, while driving prioritization across technology initiatives.
- Identify gaps and recommend enhancements to products, services, workflows, and processes based on industry trends and evolving interoperability requirements.
- Track and report spending, value metrics, and portfolio performance to ensure investments remain aligned with strategic priorities.
- Coordinate across enterprise business segments and functional teams to identify and resolve workflow dependencies and process interdependencies.
- Influence organizational and operational change to improve performance, effectiveness, systems, quality, and services.
- Help identify solutions to issues that could negatively affect program or project plans.
- Support emerging interoperability priorities and cross-functional initiatives as business and regulatory needs evolve.
- 7-10+ years of experience in healthcare, with demonstrated knowledge of healthcare operations and technology environments.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Program Manager, with a proven record of leading complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability and experience working across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Excellent executive presentation skills, including experience developing high-quality PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical, clinical, business, and executive audiences.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to use data to support planning and decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or Individual Health Plans is preferred.
- Knowledge of federal regulations and compliance requirements related to government healthcare programs is preferred.
- Experience with process mapping and discovery is preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Comfortable working independently, managing ambiguity, and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
- Base salary range of $82,940 to $182,549, with the actual offer determined by factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.
- Eligibility for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to base compensation.
