Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer based in the United States.

This is a high-impact opportunity to help shape how real estate and construction businesses adopt modern software solutions. The role combines sales engineering, consultative solution design, technical expertise, and deep industry knowledge. You will guide owner and developer prospects through complex evaluations, translating development and construction finance workflows into scalable technology solutions. Working closely with Sales, Product & Engineering, and Client Success, you will influence both new business and long-term customer outcomes. You will engage with senior decision-makers, design tailored demonstrations, and build compelling ROI-based business cases. The role also provides opportunities to influence product strategy, contribute to industry thought leadership, and mentor internal teams. It is well suited to a technically strong, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-moving proptech environment.

Accountabilities

    • Own the technical evaluation stage of the sales cycle for owner and developer prospects, from initial discovery through solution validation.
    • Partner with Sales to understand and redesign complex real estate development and construction workflows, including pre-development, construction, draw management, and reporting.
    • Conduct detailed discovery sessions to understand existing ERP, construction management, payments, and other technology systems, as well as stakeholder pain points, integration requirements, reporting needs, and success criteria.
    • Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations for executive, finance, operational, technical, and other stakeholder audiences.
    • Clearly communicate how technology solutions can improve operational efficiency and transparency, reduce financial and administrative risk, and create stronger outcomes for debt and equity stakeholders.
    • Develop and present ROI-focused financial models that quantify expected value, business impact, and potential efficiency gains.
    • Establish credibility with prospective and existing customers as a subject matter expert in real estate development and construction finance.
    • Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, senior leaders, and other key decision-makers.
    • Support Client Success teams during implementation and after go-live by helping resolve complex workflow, reporting, configuration, and integration challenges.
    • Collaborate with Product & Engineering teams to assess configuration and integration requirements and communicate recurring customer needs and market trends.
    • Influence product enhancements related to reporting, monitoring, financial controls, and owner/developer workflows.
    • Collaborate across Sales, Product, and Client Success on go-to-market messaging, product positioning, demo strategy, and sales enablement.
    • Contribute expertise to onboarding, training, internal enablement programs, best-practice documentation, and sales playbooks.
    • Represent the organization at national and regional industry conferences and serve as a knowledgeable voice in proptech and owner/developer solutions.
    • Share industry insights, customer success stories, lessons learned, and emerging market trends with internal and external audiences.
    • Support cross-selling and positioning of owner/developer solutions alongside construction lending solutions for financial institutions and other lending organizations.
    • Requirements

      • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand, analyze, and explain sophisticated software systems, integrations, and business workflows.
      • Previous experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, pre-sales, consultative SaaS, or a closely related customer-facing technical role.
      • Proptech, construction technology, real estate technology, or related industry experience is strongly preferred.
      • Proven ability to deliver high-quality product demonstrations tailored to different audiences, from technical users to executives and financial decision-makers.
      • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
      • Strong consultative selling and discovery capabilities, with the ability to uncover business challenges and translate them into technology solutions.
      • Solid understanding of real estate development and construction finance workflows, including financial controls, draw processes, reporting, risk management, and compliance.
      • Experience working with ERP platforms in real estate or construction environments, such as Yardi, Sage, QuickBooks Online, or MRI, is preferred.
      • Familiarity with construction management platforms such as Procore, Sage Intacct/Construction, or Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred.
      • Understanding of digital payments, construction draw processes, financial controls, compliance requirements, and related technology ecosystems.
      • Experience working within or alongside proptech, construction technology, real estate, or financial technology ecosystems.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Product & Engineering, Client Success, and other cross-functional teams.
      • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect technical capabilities with measurable customer and financial outcomes.
      • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and building credibility as a trusted advisor.
      • Willingness to travel approximately 15%-25% as needed to support business priorities, including occasional travel to company gatherings.
      • Strong adaptability and comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities and customer needs evolve quickly.
      • Benefits

        • Base salary range of $135,000-$150,000 USD per year, plus commission.
        • Competitive total compensation package with equity in the form of stock options.
        • Uncapped paid time off for U.S.-based employees.
        • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
        • 401(k) plan with employer matching and expedited vesting for U.S.-based employees.
        • Learning Grant program supporting ongoing professional and career development.
        • Remote work opportunity within the United States.
        • Approximately 15%-25% business travel, with additional travel to company gatherings as required.
        • Opportunity to contribute to the transformation of a large and complex real estate and construction industry through technology.
        • Collaborative, inclusive workplace focused on bringing together people with diverse expertise and perspectives.
        • Opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, customers, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams.
        • Exposure to emerging AI, SaaS, proptech, real estate, construction, and financial technology solutions.
        • Professional development opportunities through enablement, industry events, conferences, and thought leadership.
