Senior Software Engineer- Python / Go

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Python / Go based in India.

This is an opportunity to join a fully remote R&D environment focused on solving complex data and cybersecurity challenges at scale. You will design and develop high-performance software responsible for collecting and moving large volumes of data across modern IT environments. The role offers significant ownership, with responsibility for features, modules, and technical solutions from design through implementation. You’ll work on enterprise-grade, cloud-scale systems where performance, reliability, and scalability are critical. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance core applications responsible for collecting, processing, and moving large volumes of data.
• Own features and modules end to end, contributing to architecture, design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Build scalable server-side solutions using Python, Go, or other relevant enterprise technologies.
• Develop efficient multi-threaded and asynchronous applications capable of operating reliably at significant scale.
• Design and optimize SQL-based processes and contribute to robust database architecture and development.
• Develop systems capable of meeting demanding cloud-scale performance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across functions to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development practices, contributing to planning, technical discussions, reviews, and iterative delivery.
• Work effectively with distributed and remote teams, maintaining clear communication and alignment across locations.
• Take ownership of technical challenges, adapt quickly to new technologies, and communicate solutions clearly to both engineering and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience developing enterprise-grade applications using Python, Go, C#, Java, or comparable technologies, with strong relevance to Python and/or Go.
• Strong hands-on experience in server-side software development, including multi-threaded and asynchronous programming.
• Proven ability to build high-performance applications and processes using SQL.
• Experience designing and developing databases and data-intensive applications.
• Demonstrated experience building and operating systems at cloud scale.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Scrum and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and technical environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and interpersonal skills, including experience working effectively with remote or distributed teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers and senior leadership.
• Experience developing security products, SaaS integrations, data models, or ontologies is a plus.
