Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Strategic Finance Manager based in United States.

This is a high-impact strategic finance role supporting a rapidly scaling healthcare technology business.

You will act as a trusted finance partner to leaders across Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, People, and other corporate functions.

The role combines financial planning, forecasting, business analysis, capital allocation, and strategic decision-making.

You will translate business priorities into financial plans and turn complex data into clear recommendations that influence investment decisions.

You will own important parts of the planning and forecasting cycle while helping teams understand the financial drivers behind their performance.

The position is highly cross-functional and suited to someone who wants to influence business outcomes rather than simply report financial results.

You will also play an active role in applying AI tools to improve financial analysis, efficiency, and decision-making.

Accountabilities:

    • Serve as an embedded finance business partner to 1-2 business functions.
    • Translate business strategies, operating plans, and priorities into actionable financial plans.
    • Help business leaders understand financial constraints and evaluate associated tradeoffs.
    • Build and pressure-test business cases for strategic investments and major business decisions.
    • Evaluate investment opportunities across product initiatives, sales and marketing, market expansion, headcount, vendors, and build-versus-buy decisions.
    • Track investment outcomes and unit economics to assess whether strategic decisions are delivering expected results.
    • Close the loop with leadership by communicating investment performance and lessons learned.
    • Own the financial planning and monthly forecasting process for assigned business areas.
    • Manage operating budgets in partnership with functional leaders.
    • Lead monthly financial reviews and variance analysis.
    • Provide guidance to business partners on budget performance, financial trends, and forecast changes.
    • Maintain and continuously improve forecasts for the assigned areas of the business.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the operational and financial drivers underlying business performance.
    • Partner with Data and other teams to define meaningful business KPIs.
    • Help ensure critical KPIs are visible, reliable, and trusted by business stakeholders.
    • Translate complex financial and operational analysis into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives that require financial analysis, strategic judgment, and stakeholder alignment.
    • Apply AI tools to accelerate analysis, improve efficiency, and support better financial decision-making.
    • Contribute to the evolution of strategic finance processes and ways of working as the organization scales.
    • Requirements:

      • 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
      • Experience combining Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Private Equity/Venture Capital, or a highly analytical Strategic Finance role at a fast-growing technology company is preferred.
      • Demonstrated experience owning financial analysis for a rapidly growing business, product line, or functional area.
      • Track record of influencing important business decisions through financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
      • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
      • Experience developing and evaluating business cases, investment analyses, and unit economics.
      • Strong commercial and strategic judgment, with the ability to connect financial performance to business outcomes.
      • Ability to operate as a true business partner rather than solely as a financial reporting resource.
      • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
      • Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to build trust through consistent delivery.
      • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and independently defining structure, scope, and priorities.
      • Proactive approach to solving open-ended business problems and moving initiatives forward.
      • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex financial and operational data.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to adapt communication style for finance teams, business leaders, and other stakeholders.
      • Ability to distill complex analysis into concise, actionable recommendations.
      • Demonstrated interest in using AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
      • Comfortable learning and adapting to evolving AI-enabled finance workflows.
      • Interest in contributing financial expertise to a mission-driven healthcare technology environment.
      • Benefits:

        • Opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization focused on expanding access to mental healthcare.
        • High-impact strategic finance role with significant exposure to business and investment decisions.
        • Close partnership with senior leaders across Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, People, and other functions.
        • Opportunity to influence how a rapidly scaling organization plans, invests, measures performance, and allocates resources.
        • Collaborative, cross-functional working environment.
        • Inclusive workplace committed to the full participation of qualified individuals.
        • Reasonable accommodations available throughout the application, interview, and employment process for individuals with disabilities.
        • Additional benefits and employment terms provided according to company policy.
