The Site Quality Manager serves as a key leader in establishing and maintaining high-quality standards across gas power generation construction projects.
You will act as a technical subject matter expert, ensuring quality programs are consistently understood, implemented, and continuously improved.
The role combines field leadership, technical expertise, mentoring, and collaboration with construction and client teams.
You will help develop inspection and testing methodologies while proactively identifying risks, nonconformances, and opportunities for improvement.
The position offers significant influence over quality culture, operational consistency, and project outcomes across multiple sites.
With extensive travel, you will work directly with project teams and quality professionals in dynamic construction environments.

Accountabilities
- Champion the quality culture across projects and verify that the Quality Program is consistently understood, followed, enforced, and applied to support safe and efficient project execution.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Inspection Instructions, Test Instructions, quality processes, and testing methodologies, collaborating with construction leadership and the Quality department.
- Train, develop, and mentor Site Quality Coordinators and support the effective integration of Quality Control teams into project operations.
- Support the development of accurate and efficient Quality Control Work Plans and ensure inspection and testing requirements are properly aligned with project needs.
- Coach construction personnel on quality assurance practices, analyze quality trends, and proactively identify solutions to reduce quality, safety, and waste exposures.
- Promote adherence to Standard Work Instructions, mandatory operating procedures, Lessons Learned, and established work methods.
- Collaborate with Process Excellence teams to update and improve Standard Work documentation and quality processes.
- Partner with Safety teams to ensure Quality Control activities comply with corporate, electrical, and project-specific safety requirements.
- Exercise Stop Work Authority when significant quality or safety exposures are identified.
- Coordinate with project and construction leadership to ensure Quality Control teams are appropriately staffed and aligned with inspection and testing requirements.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of Site Quality Coordinators and Quality Control Inspectors and support scheduling and deployment of quality personnel.
- Communicate organization-wide quality challenges and recommendations to project teams and leadership.
- Conduct observations of construction and quality activities, identify deviations from established standards, and drive corrective actions.
- Support data-driven continuous improvement initiatives by identifying, documenting, and acting on quality opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, construction management, engineering, quality, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Eight or more years of progressive related experience, preferably including construction quality leadership.
- Strong understanding of Quality Control Inspection Instructions, Test Instructions, Standard Work, Lessons Learned, and Work Methods.
- Thorough knowledge of root cause analysis, nonconformance reporting and management, quality data reporting, and continuous improvement practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, project specifications, and OEM manuals.
- Ability to develop or quickly acquire knowledge of energy construction methods, engineering practices, equipment, and material selection.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, mentor, and develop Site Quality Coordinators and other quality professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise messages.
- Strong ability to lead discussions, meetings, presentations, and cross-functional conversations with peers, subordinates, project teams, and clients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytical tools.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in a field-based, project-driven environment.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, with up to 75% travel required throughout the United States.
- Competitive salary of approximately $110,617-$160,396, with individual compensation based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
