This is a full-stack engineering opportunity focused on building scalable, customer-facing CRM experiences within a highly distributed SaaS platform.
You will work across backend services, APIs, databases, and responsive frontend interfaces to deliver features used by businesses worldwide.
The role offers end-to-end ownership, from understanding product requirements and designing technical solutions through deployment and production monitoring.
You will work with technologies including Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, Vue.js, and modern database and caching solutions.
The position involves solving challenging performance, reliability, and scalability problems across systems handling very large datasets and high volumes of activity.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and engineering teams in a remote-first environment built around ownership and continuous learning.
This role is suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys combining strong technical execution with product-focused problem solving.
Accountabilities
Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, or comparable frameworks.
Design and implement REST APIs supporting customer-facing CRM capabilities.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases, caching layers, and asynchronous processing systems.
Optimize APIs, database queries, and backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Build responsive, performant frontend interfaces using Vue.js and TypeScript.
Develop reusable frontend components for CRM experiences involving lists, filters, search, files, notes, tags, and large datasets.
Integrate frontend applications cleanly and reliably with backend APIs.
Translate product requirements into practical technical designs and implementation plans.
Own features across database, API, and user-interface layers from development through deployment.
Participate in technical design discussions and API contract definition.
Test, deploy, and monitor features in production environments.
Write maintainable, testable, and high-quality code while participating in peer code reviews.
Investigate and resolve frontend and backend production issues.
Improve the performance, reliability, usability, monitoring, and observability of existing features.
Apply an AI-first approach to design, development, debugging, and engineering workflows.
3+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Hands-on backend development experience with Node.js.
Frontend development experience with Vue.js, React, Angular, or a comparable modern framework.
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Understanding of component-based frontend architecture and reusable UI development.
Experience with Git, CI/CD practices, and automated testing.
Strong debugging skills across both frontend and backend systems.
Ability to independently design and deliver medium-complexity software features.
Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively across multiple technical layers.
An AI-first mindset when approaching software design, implementation, testing, and debugging.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with Product, Design, QA, and engineering stakeholders.
Experience working effectively in remote or distributed engineering environments.
Experience with high-scale SaaS products is a plus.
Familiarity with Vue 2/Vue 3 and state-management technologies such as Pinia or Redux is advantageous.
Experience with NestJS, MongoDB, Firestore, Redis, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch is beneficial.
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, micro-frontend architectures, event-driven systems, accessibility, or internationalization is a plus.
