Accountabilities
- Design and execute cloud mass ingestion solutions covering databases, files, applications, and streaming data sources.
- Manage initial data loads and incremental Change Data Capture (CDC) processes across Oracle, SQL Server, and Redshift, including schema drift management and delivery to S3 landing zones.
- Design and develop data lake architectures and datasets, including zone and layer structures, partitioning strategies, file formats, and curated datasets.
- Build and optimize cloud data integrations through mapping and taskflow design, ETL performance optimization, and development of reusable integration assets.
- Manage the promotion of data integration solutions across Development, QA, and Production environments.
- Monitor pipeline health and data quality, troubleshoot Secure Agent and Operational Insights issues, perform root cause analysis, and execute data backfills when required.
- Collaborate proactively with technical and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and maintainable data solutions.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a closely related role.
- Strong experience with Informatica Cloud Mass Ingestion, cloud data engineering, ETL, and SQL Server.
- Hands-on knowledge of data ingestion, CDC, data lake architecture, cloud integration, and data pipeline development.
- Experience working with Oracle, Redshift, S3, and other cloud-based data technologies is highly valued.
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain complex data workflows.
- Proactive, responsible, empathetic, and committed approach to work, with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Advanced/fluent English communication skills are mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Must be a resident of Mexico and available to work Monday through Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00.
