Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Tax Manager based in United States.

The Sr. Tax Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing global tax strategies across a complex, multinational organization.

You will partner closely with Finance, Legal, Operations, and senior stakeholders to implement practical, value-driven tax solutions.

The role offers the opportunity to influence transaction structures, supply chain strategies, and global business initiatives.

You will also help strengthen tax processes, improve operational efficiency, and maintain compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with significant exposure to senior management and cross-functional projects.

This is an opportunity for an experienced tax professional to apply deep technical expertise while contributing to strategic business decisions.

Accountabilities

    • Lead and support strategic tax planning initiatives, including transaction structuring, supply chain optimization, and commercial enablement.

    • Manage global transfer pricing documentation and oversee operational compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

    • Participate in U.S. international tax compliance and reporting, including calculations related to GILTI, BEAT, FDII, and foreign tax credit regulations.

    • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to implement, monitor, and enhance tax strategies.

    • Evaluate and improve tax compliance, financial reporting, and operational processes to increase efficiency, transparency, and consistency.

    • Provide strategic tax guidance on complex business matters while considering potential outcomes from multiple perspectives.

    • Support effective communication and documentation of tax positions and recommendations for audiences across the organization.

    • Contribute to projects involving tax systems, data analysis, and process optimization using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar platforms.

    • Build constructive relationships with peers, senior leaders, and executive management while influencing decisions through sound technical and commercial judgment.

    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

      • At least 10 years of progressive experience in international tax, transfer pricing, and tax planning.

      • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. international tax regulations, transfer pricing principles, and ASC 740.

      • CPA or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.

      • Master of Science in Taxation (MST) or JD/LLM preferred.

      • Experience working within a Big Four accounting firm or a multinational corporate tax environment.

      • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and project management skills.

      • Ability to think strategically, simplify complex issues, and develop transparent, practical solutions.

      • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence peers and senior or executive stakeholders.

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt technical information to different audiences.

      • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Excel macros, Power BI, Alteryx, or comparable data-analysis and visualization tools is a plus.

      • Experience with SAP, Oracle Hyperion, Workday, or similar enterprise systems is advantageous.

      • Benefits

        • Base salary range of $134,000-$167,000 annually, with actual compensation determined by location, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

        • Additional compensation opportunities may include bonuses, equity, or other applicable rewards.

        • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options.

        • Life and disability insurance.

        • Paid time off.

        • Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

        • Remote opportunities available for eligible U.S. East Coast candidates, with hybrid work available for the Waltham, Massachusetts location.

        • Opportunity to work in a global, cross-functional environment with exposure to strategic tax and business initiatives.

        • Professional development opportunities within a growing international organization.
