Jobgether is an AI-powered job platform focused on remote and flexible work. It matches candidates with relevant roles using skills and preference-based algorithms, and also offers career coaching and job-search guidance.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UI/UX Designer based in India.

You’ll design intuitive, engaging digital learning experiences used by students and educators around the world.

The role covers the full product design lifecycle, from ambiguous problems and user flows to polished interfaces and shipped experiences.

You’ll work extensively on AI-powered and personalized learning features while ensuring users remain informed and in control.

You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, design, and learning experts in a fast-moving, highly iterative environment.

The position combines strong visual and interaction design with product thinking, prototyping, accessibility, and design systems.

You’ll have significant ownership and the opportunity to experiment with modern AI-powered design and development tools.

This is an ideal environment for a designer who wants to create meaningful products rather than simply produce static screens.

Accountabilities

    • Design intuitive UI/UX experiences for AI-powered EdTech web and mobile applications serving students and educators.
    • Own product design initiatives end to end, including problem framing, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and iteration through launch.
    • Design AI and LLM-powered features that reduce user effort while preserving human control through appropriate review, editing, undo, feedback, and recovery experiences.
    • Use modern design, AI, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Claude Design, and Lovable to rapidly explore concepts and create working prototypes.
    • Build and maintain reusable components, variants, and design tokens to create consistent, scalable product experiences.
    • Apply accessibility principles throughout the design process, including clear labeling, keyboard navigation, focus states, sufficient contrast, meaningful error messaging, and status indicators that do not rely solely on color in line with WCAG 2.2 AA.
    • Create mobile-first, responsive experiences that work effectively across smartphones, tablets, and desktop environments.
    • Produce detailed, engineering-ready handoffs covering user flows, interface states, validation rules, and component specifications.
    • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and learning specialists through rapid iteration cycles to improve user journeys and product outcomes.
    • Contribute ideas, experimentation, and momentum within a small, ownership-driven product team.
    • Requirements

      • Demonstrated experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing shipped web and mobile experiences and the reasoning behind design decisions.
      • Strong proficiency in Figma and solid visual and interaction design skills, including hierarchy, spacing, typography, responsive layouts, and interface states.
      • Strong product thinking, with the ability to challenge assumptions, clarify ambiguous requirements, and prioritize the experiences and features that matter most.
      • Genuine interest in AI-enhanced and personalized user experiences, particularly designing interactions that keep users informed and in control of AI-generated outcomes.
      • Experience or strong willingness to work with modern AI-powered design and prototyping tools and continuously experiment as the technology evolves.
      • Systems-thinking approach to design, with experience creating reusable components, variants, design tokens, and scalable design patterns rather than one-off screens.
      • Strong understanding of accessibility and a commitment to designing inclusive experiences for diverse users.
      • Ability to work independently, make decisions with incomplete information, and move effectively without highly prescriptive instructions.
      • Ownership-oriented, curious, collaborative mindset with the energy and adaptability required in a fast-moving product environment.
      • Experience designing for EdTech, students, teachers, or classroom environments is a strong advantage.
      • Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library is a plus.
      • Ability to prototype using HTML/CSS, React, or tools such as Lovable is an advantage.
      • Experience designing AI-powered product features, including failure states, guardrails, human review, and recovery flows, is a plus.
      • Benefits

        • Fully remote position available to candidates based in India.
        • Competitive compensation.
        • High degree of ownership over product design and user experiences.
        • Opportunity to work on AI-powered learning products with global reach.
        • Small, collaborative team with a focus on meaningful product development rather than corporate bureaucracy.
        • Freedom to experiment with modern AI design, prototyping, and development tools.
        • Environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, speed, and continuous learning.
        • Opportunity to contribute to technology that can make learning more engaging, personalized, accessible, and effective.
