The Joblogic Story

Established in 1998, Joblogic is the UK’s #1 Field Service Management (FSM) software platform. We are a global business with offices in the UK, Pakistan, and Vietnam. Since our management buy-out in 2013, we have grown from ~£500K ARR to ~£35M+ ARR and expanded our team from 11 to 500+ people.

Recently, we secured a strategic growth investment from Vista Equity Partners - a global technology investor specialising in enterprise software. This investment includes over £100 million in new primary capital and will fuel our next phase of growth by accelerating our AI-first roadmap, expanding our platform into CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) capabilities, and supporting our expansion across Europe and beyond.

With Vista’s backing, we’re transforming from a successful UK business into a global scaling SaaS rocket ship, and we’d love for you to join us on our journey to £100M ARR across international markets.

Joblogic provides software to service contractors who install and maintain the built environment. Our platform helps businesses streamline operations, improve profitability, ensure compliance, and achieve rapid growth. With over 100,000 users across industries including HVAC, plumbing, electrical maintenance, facilities management, and building fabric maintenance, we are entering a new era of intelligent automation, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making for service firms.

We're hiring a Product Director to lead the strategy, vision, and execution of Joblogic's product portfolio across Field Service and Facilities Management. This is a senior leadership role for someone with broad product expertise, deep domain understanding, strong people leadership and mentoring skills, and a proven ability to design, build, and scale AI-powered products in B2B SaaS.

You'll own the product vision and roadmap across our entire FSM and CAFM platform, lead, grow, and mentor a high-performing product team, and partner with the executive team to translate market opportunity into commercial outcomes. You'll also be the driving force behind our AI-first product agenda - defining where AI delivers genuine value, embedding intelligence into core workflows, and ensuring we ship responsibly and at pace.

Above all, this is a people leadership role. You'll be the coach, mentor, and standard-setter for the product team - building careers, raising the craft bar, and creating the kind of environment where ambitious product people do their best work. You'll be equal parts strategist, people leader, and product craftsperson.

What You'll Own

You'll lead product across the Joblogic platform, including:

  • End-to-end FSM and CAFM platform strategy
  • AI-first product initiatives - copilots, agents, predictive maintenance, intelligent scheduling, document intelligence
  • Reactive, PPM, and contract workflows
  • Scheduling, dispatch, and optimisation
  • Field engineer mobile experience
  • Asset lifecycle management
  • Quoting → job → invoicing flows
  • Customer portals and self-service
  • Data, reporting, analytics, and embedded BI
  • Vertical-specific FM workflows (HVAC, M&E, FM, building maintenance)
  • Platform, integrations, and developer experience

What You'll Do

1. Set Product Vision & Strategy

  • Define and communicate a compelling 1-3 year product vision aligned to Joblogic's £100M ARR ambition.
  • Translate market trends, customer insight, and competitive dynamics into a clear, prioritised portfolio roadmap.
  • Make sharp build / buy / partner / sunset decisions across the platform.
  • Partner with the CEO, CPO, CTO, CRO, and CCO to align product strategy with commercial and GTM strategy.

2. Lead the AI-First Product Agenda

  • Own Joblogic's AI product strategy across LLMs, ML, agents, and predictive analytics.
  • Identify the highest-value AI use cases across FSM and CAFM workflows - from intelligent scheduling and dynamic dispatch to predictive maintenance, automated quoting, and engineer copilots.
  • Set principles for responsible, safe, and explainable AI - including data, privacy, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop design.
  • Stay close to the rapidly evolving AI landscape (foundation models, agentic patterns, RAG, fine-tuning, evals) and translate it into pragmatic product bets.
  • Partner with engineering and data leadership to shape the AI platform, data architecture, and ML lifecycle.

3. Mentor, Coach & Lead a High-Performing Product Team

  • Hire, mentor, and develop Product Managers, Senior PMs, and Group PMs across the portfolio - making people growth a core part of how you spend your week.
  • Run regular 1:1s, career conversations, and development plans tailored to each PM's strengths, goals, and growth areas.
  • Coach PMs through complex trade-offs, stakeholder management, difficult prioritisation calls, and high-stakes customer situations.
  • Set the standard for discovery, product craft, written communication, and commercial thinking - and actively raise the bar through feedback and pairing.
  • Establish clear team structure, ownership, levelling, and career paths as the function scales.
  • Build a strong performance culture: clear expectations, candid feedback, recognition, and the courage to make hard people decisions when needed.
  • Foster a psychologically safe, inclusive environment where customer obsession, evidence-led decisions, and outcome ownership thrive.
  • Invest in the team's craft - running PRD reviews, discovery clinics, AI literacy sessions, and post-mortems.

4. Drive Discovery & Customer Insight at Scale

  • Embed deep, continuous discovery across the product team - customer calls, field visits, usage analytics, and qualitative research.
  • Maintain a strong personal connection to customers, engineers, planners, and contract managers.
  • Synthesise insight across verticals to identify portfolio-level opportunities and risks.
  • Champion design partner programs and beta cohorts for new AI and platform capabilities.

5. Partner With UX, Engineering & Data

  • Work hand-in-hand with Design and Engineering leadership to ship simple, scalable, beautifully crafted products.
  • Set quality bars for usability, performance, reliability, and AI behaviour.
  • Ensure mobile and web experiences feel like one cohesive, modern product.
  • Drive a strong data and experimentation culture - from instrumentation to A/B testing to outcome reporting.

6. Own Commercial & Outcome Accountability

  • Own product-led inputs to ARR growth, retention, expansion, and adoption.
  • Define and track product KPIs and OKRs at portfolio and team level.
  • Partner with Sales, CS, and Marketing on positioning, packaging, pricing, and launches.
  • Represent product externally - with customers, partners, analysts, investors, and at industry events.

7. Shape the Operating Model

  • Define how product, design, and engineering work together - rituals, planning cadence, roadmap reviews, discovery operations.
  • Scale the function from a single-product mindset to a multi-product, platform-led operating model.
  • Improve roadmap transparency, prioritisation frameworks, and cross-team dependencies.

What You Bring

Must-Have (Non-Negotiable)

  • Extensive, proven experience in product management, including substantial experience directly managing and mentoring product managers in B2B SaaS.
  • Proven people leadership and mentoring track record - you've built teams from the ground up, developed PMs into Senior PMs and beyond, and can point to specific people whose careers you've helped shape.
  • Proven track record of shipping and scaling AI-powered products - from problem framing through to production, evaluation, and adoption.
  • Deep, hands-on understanding of modern AI/ML and GenAI capabilities: LLMs, agents, RAG, evals, prompt and context engineering, model selection, fine-tuning, and ML lifecycle trade-offs.
  • Broad product expertise across multiple domains - workflows, platform, mobile, data, integrations - and the ability to set strategy across all of them.
  • Experience in Field Service Management, Facilities Management, CAFM/CMMS, Construction Tech, or an adjacent vertical SaaS domain.
  • Strong commercial instinct: comfortable owning revenue-impacting decisions, pricing, packaging, and ROI cases.
  • Demonstrated success building, hiring, retaining, and growing product teams of 5-20+ people.
  • Excellent strategic communication - able to translate complex problems into clear narratives for the board, customers, and engineering teams.

People Leadership & Mentoring

  • A natural mentor - you genuinely enjoy growing other people and take pride in their wins.
  • Skilled at giving direct, kind, actionable feedback - and equally skilled at receiving it.
  • Comfortable having hard conversations: performance, levelling, role changes, and tough prioritisation calls.
  • Strong emotional intelligence - you read teams well, spot burnout early, and create space for people to do their best work.
  • Track record of hiring exceptional product talent and building diverse, inclusive teams.
  • Able to flex coaching style - from new PMs needing structure to senior PMs needing sounding-board sparring.

Product & Leadership Skills

  • Strong product craft: discovery, prioritisation, written specs, systems thinking, and outcome orientation.
  • Ability to operate at multiple altitudes - from 3-year strategy to specific PRDs and AI evaluation criteria.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, complex stakeholders, and competing priorities.
  • Data- and evidence-led decision making, balanced with strong product intuition.
  • Influence without authority across executive, commercial, and technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience scaling product in a PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Exposure to international expansion (Europe, North America).
  • Background in scheduling, optimisation, IoT, or operations research.
  • Experience launching agentic or copilot experiences in B2B workflows.
  • Familiarity with APIs, marketplaces, and partner ecosystems.
  • Engineering, data science, or design background.

Why This Role Matters

Joblogic is evolving from a traditional FSM tool into an AI-first, workflow-intelligent, vertical-focused platform - and the Product Director is the single most important hire in shaping that future.

In this role, you'll directly influence:

  • How 100,000+ users experience Joblogic every day
  • Where and how AI shows up across the platform
  • How quickly we expand into CAFM and international markets
  • The product culture, craft, and bar for the next 100 hires
  • Our path from £25M to £100M ARR

If you want to lead product at a scale where strategy, AI, and execution all matter - and where your decisions show up in the working day of thousands of engineers, planners, and service teams - this is the role.
