Hey, I'm Noel, CEO and Owner at JobRack, and I'm on a mission to build the most amazing recruitment business with the most amazing team.

Here's a shortvideoby way of introduction.

There's a lot of detail below. If you don't like details, that's completely fine. It just means this role isn't for you.

About us

JobRack helps small businesses and start-ups in the US and Europe hire remote team members from Eastern Europe and South Africa.

We're a fully-remote team of 8 just now. What sets us apart is that we actually know each other, support each other, and share one goal: helping our clients hire amazing candidates.

Clients work with us for three reasons:

We find them people they couldn't find themselves

We give them a lot of help and support to hire successfully

We're confident enough in our service to offer a one-year guarantee

We recruit across ecommerce and DTC marketing, creative and paid social, SEO and content, customer support, operations and project management, professional services, legal, executive assistance, finance, sales and tech.

You can hear from our clients athttps://jobrack.eu/testimonials

Here’s some of the comments we get from candidates:

I had a great experience with Jobrack. They helped me get a great job, and Chelsea was very helpful and professional from start to finish. The overall process was quite smooth.

I had a phenomenal experience with JobRack! Thank you for helping me get my dream job.

They were very thoughtful, communicative, provided regular feedback throughout the process. I felt supported all the way.

Our core values:

  • We have clarity - we know where we're going and what's expected of us
  • We work with focused speed
  • We are positive and professional
  • We wow our clients
  • We constantly improve
  • Above all, we are helpful and friendly.

Our culture is fun, rewarding, high-achieving and focused on getting things done. We're a small team doing great work and having a good laugh along the way!

Why this role exists?

Here's the honest version.

Our clients are business owners. They're busy, they're often hiring for something they've never hired for before, and they're trusting us with a decision that really matters to them.

What they need isn't someone who takes the brief and disappears. They need someone who sits with them, asks the questions they hadn't thought of, tells them when something won't work, and genuinely gets excited about the person they end up hiring.

That's what a Recruitment Partner does. Partner is the important word.

You're not taking orders and you're not just filling a vacancy. You're their equal in the conversation, and we have clients who come back again and again because of how it felt to work with us.

You'll work on all kinds of roles.

We hire a lot in ecommerce, DTC marketing, creative, SEO, content, customer support, ops and project management, executive assistants, and finance too.

But you'll also work on roles involving software engineers, developers, data or product.

Good solid tech roles, and we want someone who genuinely enjoys them rather than tolerates them.

You'll join a small recruitment team and report to Chelsea, our Recruitment Lead.

You’ll get short feedback loops, quick decisions, and a lot of trust.

You'll also be working alongside our Sourcing Specialist, who does the heavy lifting on finding candidates.

You'll still get stuck into sourcing when a role needs it, and you'll need to be good at it, but you won't be spending your days in a boolean search.

Your time goes to clients, candidates and getting hires across the line.

What you'll do

Look after your clients really well. Run the onboarding call, understand their business, and stay close to them through the whole process. They should finish every call feeling clearer and more confident than when they started.

Find brilliant people. Work with our Sourcing Specialist to build shortlists that make a client's decision easy.

Take on the briefs. You'll work across a mix of technical and non-technical roles, and we expect you to know your stuff before you dive in.

Thoroughly research the client, the role, the market and what good looks like so you're properly prepared before speaking to candidates or going back to the client.

Interview like you mean it. Get past the CV to what actually makes someone right for this business, this founder, this team.

Keep candidates in the loop. Scheduling, tasks, feedback, the lot. Nobody should ever be left wondering where they stand with us.

Say the hard thing kindly. If a salary won't buy what a client wants, tell them. If a spec is unrealistic, say so early. Clients thank us for this.

Own your roles. Drive the strategy, watch the numbers, and take real pride in the result.

Requirements

What you need to excel

5+ years as a recruiter in an agency environment, working internationally

Experience with clients in the USA, UK and Europe, with founders and business owners as your direct hiring managers

Genuine sourcing ability including using AI to support you. Boolean, LinkedIn, weird and wonderful places to find great candidates, the lot. You won't live in sourcing here, but you need to know it

Experience with ATS systems (we use Workable just now)

Sourcing experience in South Africa and/or Eastern Europe is a strong advantage

On the tech side. Our tech hiring doesn't look like corporate recruiting.

You don't need to have been a pure tech recruiter and we're not asking for big-tech experience.

What you do need is enough depth to read a technical CV properly, hold your own in a conversation with a developer without a hiring manager in the room, and tell a client when their spec and their budget don't line up.

AI. We love AI but we love the human touch more. You’ll know how to use AI to make you incredibly efficient enabling you to spend your time on the real human touches that make the difference.

All of our clients need people who can work with AI really well, we call it AI-fluent hiring, and we expect the same of our own team.

You should already be using it in your own work and be able to judge it credibly in a candidate.

Who thrives here

The people who thrive at JobRack are the ones who take real ownership and also sweat the details. Fast, but definitely not sloppy. Warm, but straight with people.

That looks like:

A natural partner. You build proper relationships with clients and candidates. You're comfortable being their equal, challenging them when it's needed and being challenged back.

Thorough. You dig into profiles and compare them properly. You never send a CV you couldn't defend.

Driven. You set your own pace. You're happy owning a number and being measured on it - for us that's candidate quality, candidate quantity and speed of hire.

Always improving. You spot what's broken and fix it rather than just flagging it.

Make-it-happen. Nobody should need to chase you.

Helpful and friendly. This one's non-negotiable. It's how we treat clients, candidates and each other.

If you'd rather be handed clearly defined tasks, work at a gentler pace, or be closely supervised, you won't enjoy working here.

What's in it for you

Monthly salary of $3,000-$3,500*
