Front-End Developer (Mid-Level)

What You’ll Do
As our Front-End Developer, you’ll play a central role in building and optimizing our GenAI-powered video editing platform. You’ll work in a modern monorepo setup, integrating real-time features, browser-level video optimization, and cutting-edge AI interfaces to deliver magical user experiences.
GraphQL Integration & Subscriptions:
Develop and optimize front-end interfaces leveraging GraphQL queries, mutations, and subscriptions for real-time data fetching and updates.
Design robust caching strategies and state synchronization using local storage and state management tools like XState or Zustand.
AI & GenAI Integrations:
Integrate advanced AI functionalities into applications using Vercel AI SDK and other modern LLM tools.
Develop intuitive, chat-driven, and creative AI-powered user experiences.
Real-time & Next.js Development:
Implement performant, real-time interactions using Next.js, ensuring rapid response times and smooth user experiences.
Employ real-time data handling techniques and local caching for improved performance.
Media & Video Optimization:
Enhance browser-level media and video performance, efficiently managing media metadata, and ensuring seamless playback.
Contribute to or develop web-based video editing tools, utilizing frameworks like Remotion.
Monorepo Collaboration:
Operate effectively within a monorepo environment, managing shared packages and cross-team collaboration.
Firebase Integration:
Maintain and occasionally optimize existing Firebase services, such as Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions.
What We’re Looking For
Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and GraphQL.
Experience implementing GraphQL subscriptions and local storage strategies for optimized performance.
Familiarity with integrating advanced AI SDKs, such as Vercel AI SDK, into front-end applications.
Strong capability in video performance optimization and media handling.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and modular code.
Excellent collaboration skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
