As our next Quality Engineering Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring products meet customer expectations while supporting efficient manufacturing operations. Your expertise in quality engineering, problem-solving, customer quality management, supplier quality, and continuous improvement will be critical in improving product quality, reducing defects, and supporting new business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage quality performance by ensuring customer-specific requirements are communicated and implemented throughout operations
- Lead structured problem-solving initiatives, root cause analyses, and corrective actions
- Contain, review, and disposition nonconforming materials in accordance with product specifications
- Maintain customer relationships through regular communication and quality performance reviews
- Manage customer portals, quality scorecards, and performance metrics
- Develop supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and drive quality improvements
- Lead internal and external corrective action processes
- Analyze statistical data and apply SPC methodologies to improve process capability and reduce nonconformances
- Monitor scrap levels and implement cost-reduction and quality improvement initiatives
- Train inspectors and production associates on gauge use, inspection standards, quality procedures, and corrective actions
- Create and maintain PPAP packages, Control Plans, FMEAs, APQP documentation, and related quality records
- Address daily production quality concerns and develop rework strategies and acceptance criteria
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to Quality, Productivity, Engineering, and IATF compliance
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and all applicable Quality and EHS requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum five years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on experience with structured problem-solving and root cause analysis tools
- Solid understanding of SPC, quality assurance practices, error-proofing methods, and tool design
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality systems
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Powder Metallurgy Technologist Level 1 certification
- Experience supporting automotive manufacturing operations
- Experience leading APQP, PPAP, and new product launch activities
- Strong customer-facing and supplier development experience
- Experience implementing scrap-reduction and continuous improvement programs
