About the role:

As a Finance Transitions SME, you'll own the financial set-up of new client accounts from the day they sign with JLL through go-live and into steady state. You're the senior finance voice in the room during onboarding - preparing and reconciling transition budgets, standing up accounting systems, and making sure billing and funding are running cleanly before handoff. You'll also be the person Analysts and Team Leads turn to when a transition gets complicated, so you'll split your time between doing the work yourself on the most complex accounts and guiding others through the rest.

Analyst responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile transition budgets for each new client, and manage the Transition Budget tracker through go-live and 90 days post go-live.

• Work with the Transition team, On-Account team, and Finance Leads to ensure the Transition budget stays accurate.

• Communicate with Corporate Accountants to complete journal entries for Transition-related expenses.

• Improve the efficiency of the budget tracking process and reporting.

• Assist Finance Leads with transitions on a needed basis, and act as the review/sign-off point when Analysts flag budget risk or overage.

Account set-up responsibilities:

• Manage the Transition Team Site, including user access, folder creation, and link updates.

• Develop and update transition plans to track progress toward the implementation (go-live) date across multiple concurrent accounts.

• Alternate for the Team Lead when unavailable or provide additional support as the point of contact for the client transition lead and JLL Account representative(s).

• Own system setup - E1 accounting platform, Corrigo, and Bottom-line AP - including building the initial Chart of Accounts (COA) by subsidiary, US/Canada, scope, and Corrigo/PO structure, and resolving discrepancies against the Corrigo Task List.

• Coordinate bank account administration (new account requests, ZBA vs. non-ZBA, test checks, Welcome Letters, bank fee funding) and PCard program set-up (funding/approval needs, Approver/Accountant/Card Holder roles, training).

• Act as the go-to expert on transition-related systems (E1/JD Edwards, Corrigo, Bottom-line AP, BTAP/PEGA) - troubleshooting issues Analysts escalate and refining the SOPs/checklists the team follows.

Accounting responsibilities:

• Walk the finance team through financial processes and procedures for the new client.

• Own the client billing handoff: work with the finance team to prepare initial client funding requests, update the funding log, and record client billing.

• Once cash is received, update the funding log, record the cash receipt, process the payment, and update the cash log.

• Complete ASC606 and Company Audit tabs in the E1 template, and verify general ledger setup accuracy (e.g., retained earnings coding, GL series) during E1 verification steps.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CA, or CPA a plus.

• 7+ years of relevant experience, including several years directly involved in client or account transitions/onboarding.

• Hands-on experience with an accounting/ERP platform (JD Edwards/E1, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) - direct E1/Corrigo/Bottom-line AP exposure preferred.

• Strong Excel skills, plus comfort with reporting and coordination tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, ADO/Azure DevOps, SmartSheet).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills, with a proven ability to guide or mentor others through complex, deadline-driven work.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with genuine client-facing experience.

• An understanding of and commitment to client service.

• Comfort managing multiple concurrent, time-boxed client transitions in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
