Principal Product Manager

JOOR | Product Management

About the Role

We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to help shape the future of wholesale commerce.

This is an opportunity to work on meaningful product challenges at the intersection of B2B commerce, data, and emerging technologies, including AI, on a platform connecting brands and retailers around the world.

You'll play a key role in defining how our platform evolves to better serve brands and retailers, from simplifying complex workflows to unlocking new opportunities for growth and efficiency.

As a senior individual contributor, you'll have significant ownership over your product area, from identifying the right problems to solve through delivering solutions and measuring their impact. You'll work closely with Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders to make thoughtful tradeoffs, build alignment, and deliver outcomes that matter to both our customers and JOOR.

We're looking for a thoughtful, commercially minded product leader who combines strong product instincts with a collaborative approach and a passion for solving meaningful customer problems.

What You'll Do

  • Shape product strategy. Identify opportunities to improve how brands and retailers conduct wholesale business, and translate those opportunities into a clear product direction and roadmap.

  • Lead meaningful product initiatives. Own the product lifecycle from discovery and strategy through development, launch, and ongoing optimization, partnering with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, and customer-facing teams to deliver successful outcomes.

  • Champion customer understanding. Work directly with customers and cross-functional teams to uncover unmet needs, understand complex workflows, and identify opportunities to deliver greater value.

  • Turn insights into action. Combine quantitative and qualitative research to challenge assumptions, develop hypotheses, evaluate solutions, and make informed product decisions.

  • Drive measurable impact. Define success through customer and business outcomes, using data and insights to inform decisions and continuously improve the product experience.

  • Partner across disciplines. Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design to develop intuitive, scalable solutions, navigate technical tradeoffs, and balance new product development with platform reliability and modernization.

  • Build alignment through storytelling. Communicate product vision, strategy, decisions, and results in ways that inspire confidence and create shared understanding across the organization.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with complex B2B SaaS, commerce, retail technology, or marketplace platforms.

  • Proven track record of independently leading product initiatives that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.

  • Strong product judgment, with the ability to identify high-value opportunities, challenge assumptions, and make informed tradeoffs across competing priorities.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience using customer research, product analytics, and market insights to inform product strategy and decisions.

  • Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of how product investments contribute to customer value, retention, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Design to develop and deliver thoughtful, scalable product solutions.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership, build alignment, and make decisions in complex environments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate product vision, strategy, recommendations, and results clearly and persuasively.

Why JOOR

At JOOR, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex, meaningful challenges with real-world impact, helping evolve an established platform while exploring new possibilities in commerce, data, and AI.

You'll join a collaborative, globally distributed team with substantial ownership over your product area, the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, and the autonomy to turn ideas into meaningful customer and business impact.
