Position Summary
Kaseya is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Salesforce Engineering to lead our Salesforce development team. This individual will provide technical leadership, mentor and develop engineering talent, and oversee the delivery of high-quality, scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce technical expertise with proven people management skills and a passion for driving innovation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the Salesforce engineering team, providing mentorship, technical guidance, performance support, and career development.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team environment.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce engineering projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, budget, and business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership across Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Develop and implement Salesforce engineering strategies that align with business goals and support organizational growth and scalability.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions.
- Establish and maintain engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing standards, documentation, and quality assurance.
- Monitor and optimize Salesforce platform performance, efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
- Oversee Salesforce DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), automated testing, source control, and deployment management.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, platform capabilities, and industry best practices, identifying opportunities to improve engineering processes and platform functionality.
- Ensure Salesforce solutions comply with internal security policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic recommendations on how Salesforce capabilities can improve business processes, operational efficiency, and organizational growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce engineering or Salesforce development.
- 2+ years of experience in a Salesforce development leadership or management role.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, Salesforce integrations, and data migration.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ.
- Experience developing and managing Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Gearset.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop engineering talent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing solutions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards for technical quality and delivery.

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications, including:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Salesforce CPQ
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Additional Salesforce certifications, including:
- Salesforce Platform Developer II
- Salesforce JavaScript Developer I
- Salesforce Experience Cloud
- Experience with data migration and ETL tools.
