Senior Talent Manager

We are seeking a Senior Talent Manager to join our organization. This position involves overseeing talent management and HR operations across various business units, ensuring the implementation of effective HR strategies that support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in HR generalist roles, a strong understanding of Nigerian labour laws, and the ability to develop practical HR solutions aligned with business goals.

Missions:

• Develop comprehensive workforce plans, lead recruitment and onboarding processes, review job descriptions, and optimize organizational structures to attract and retain top talent.
• Conduct thorough training needs assessments, coordinate staff development initiatives, facilitate induction programs, and evaluate the effectiveness of training activities to enhance employee skills and engagement.
• Drive employee engagement and retention strategies, oversee welfare initiatives, and manage grievances and disciplinary procedures with fairness and consistency.
• Coordinate performance review processes, guide goal-setting sessions, analyze performance data, and support the development of continuous improvement plans for individual and team growth.
• Administer salary structures, coordinate payroll inputs, monitor statutory deductions and remittances, and oversee employee benefits programs to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
• Oversee employee records management, leave administration, attendance tracking, transfers, and contract renewals to maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel data.
• Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies, maintaining legal and ethical standards in all HR practices.
• Review and update HR policies and employee handbooks, coordinate internal HR audits, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare detailed HR reports and dashboards on workforce metrics such as headcount, attrition rates, employee performance, and other key indicators for management review.
• Provide strategic HR insights to support management decision-making and prepare reports for the Board of Directors.
• Support and promote HR initiatives at the group level, participate in special projects, and foster a positive organizational culture.
