Keyloop is an automotive software company that supplies dealer management systems and related technology to car dealers and manufacturers, covering vehicle sales, service, parts, customer relationship management and digital retailing. It was formed from the international business of CDK Global after its acquisition by Francisco Partners and serves dealer groups across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas, with development centres in Hyderabad, Ho Chi Minh City and Prague. The company is headquartered in the United Kingdom.

Purpose of the role

The successful candidate will own Keyloop's relationships with financiers, both captive (OEM-owned) and independent, while maximising client adoption of the Keyloop Retention Hub through a customer retention lens and growing the use of Keyloop's AI-based capabilities within the Retention space. The role is UK-based with a global account book and regular international travel, reporting directly into the Financiers & Fleet Director. The candidate will understand the commercial dynamics of automotive finance and be equally comfortable operating at operational and senior commercial/strategic levels within each financier.

Key Headlines

  • First point of contact for existing and new financier accounts, spanning captive and independent financiers.
  • Own the senior relationship with financiers and grow the Keyloop Retention Hub agenda across their organisations and, where relevant, their dealer networks.
  • Drive adoption of the Keyloop Retention Hub with a specific focus on customer retention outcomes.
  • Lead cross-sell of AI-based capabilities within the Retention space (such as AI video and lead nurture), and identify new client opportunities across the wider Keyloop portfolio.
  • UK-based role with regular international travel; account book is global.
  • Monthly face-to-face team meetings in the UK.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent account management across captive and independent financier stakeholders.
  • Maintain weekly dialogue with clients on Keyloop Retention Hub adoption and customer retention outcomes.
  • Build and maintain multi-level relationships within financier organisations (commercial, risk, retention/customer, operations and IT), from operational teams through to senior leadership.
  • Develop and apply a thorough understanding of financier commercial models, the customer ownership lifecycle (including PCP/PCH and trade cycle management) and retention dynamics, and how these intersect with dealer network operations.
  • Support contract renewals and commercial negotiations alongside Legal and the Enterprise Team, including liaison with financier procurement and legal teams.
  • Position the Keyloop Retention Hub and its AI-based capabilities as drivers of customer retention and commercial value in client conversations.
  • Produce Quarterly Review Packs covering retention outcomes, adoption of the Retention Hub and AI-based capabilities, and system development delivered.
  • Collaborate with key financier contacts to understand their short, medium and long-term retention strategies, ensuring Keyloop is the partner of choice.
  • Keep product/sales presentation material and POS assets current and available on shared portals.
  • Feed back market intelligence on competitor retention and AI-based offerings to sharpen internal positioning.

Skillset and Experience required

  • Experience within the automotive sector, ideally within automotive finance (captive or independent financier).
  • Direct experience working with captive or independent financiers - understanding of their commercial models, customer lifecycle and retention priorities, and relationships with dealer networks. Financier-side experience is strongly favourable.
  • Thorough understanding of the automotive finance customer lifecycle, including origination, contract management, end-of-contract customer journey, and retention and trade cycle management.
  • Experience selling SaaS/cloud-based solutions.
  • Proven track record in account management, ideally managing senior corporate stakeholders within financiers.
  • User or provider experience with customer retention solutions, ideally within automotive finance.
  • Customer- and outcomes-focused, with the maturity and diplomacy to manage engagement across financier stakeholder levels - from operational through to senior commercial/strategic.
  • Able to implement a professional, structured sales approach using MEDDPIC (Keyloop's preferred sales methodology) - covering Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Paper Process, Identify Pain and Champion - alongside use of Salesforce.
  • Self-driven, ambitious, resilient, highly motivated, competitive, resourceful, excellent communication skills, especially around listening, questioning - politely assertive.
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in another European language - such as French, Spanish, Italian, or German - is preferred.
  • Highly organised within a process-oriented environment. Computer literate and familiarity with SF.com an advantage.
  • Fluency with AI tools such as Claude and Copilot is a plus but not mandatory.
