Metroll Lismore is looking for an organised and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator / Office Manager to join our team.
This is a varied role that sits at the heart of our branch. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, coordinate sales and orders, support the team with administration and help keep the day-to-day office operations running smoothly.
Metroll is a well-established Australian-owned business, manufacturing and distributing quality steel building products and accessories to the residential, commercial and rural construction industries.
About the role
You’ll work closely with customers, sales, production, transport and the wider branch team to make sure orders are processed accurately and customers receive great service.
Your day will include a mix of customer service, administration, sales support and office coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person
- Process customer orders and ensure information is accurate
- Prepare quotes, invoices and sales documentation
- Coordinate customer orders with production and transport teams
- Provide updates to customers on order status and delivery timeframes
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Assist the sales team with administration and customer follow-up
- Maintain accurate customer records, spreadsheets and filing systems
- Handle general office administration and branch support
- Assist with accounts, receipting, banking and debtor follow-up where required
- Coordinate office supplies and general branch requirements
- Help ensure the office operates efficiently and professionally
About you
You’ll be someone who enjoys dealing with people, staying organised and getting things done.
We’re looking for:
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, sales support or office coordination
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Good computer and administration skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to help wherever needed
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the building, construction, steel or manufacturing industry would be highly regarded, but it is not essential.
- Experience with Pronto or similar ERP systems would also be an advantage.
