Kinder's is a US brand of BBQ sauces, mixes, seasonings and rubs with more than 100 products sold nationwide. Its products are stocked at national retailers such as Costco, Walmart and Whole Foods, and the company hires finance, recruiting and project management staff. The company is headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, United States.

BUILT ON FLAVOR.  FUELED BY PEOPLE.

What’s it like to work at Kinder’s? Well, there’s a lot of snacking and geeking out over what we all cooked over the weekend. Beyond that, there’s also plenty of hard work. Because we don’t just like flavor, we’re obsessed with it.

With over 100 products sold nationwide, we’re now a top-five brand in multiple flavor categories at Costco, Walmart, Whole Foods, and more. We’re not your typical CPG company. Privately held and founder-led, we like to think of ourselves as a pirate ship in a sea of cruise ships. Our crew is adventurous and fearless. We chart our own course and chase big ideas to make food unforgettable.

As we expand globally and approach $1 billion in revenue, we need more smart-and-scrappy, flavor-obsessed people to come aboard. If you’re looking for a place where you can see the real impact of your work... this is it!  Every day, you’ll be part of a journey to add flavor to millions of meals and lives.

About the Role

The Senior Sales Operations Analyst plays a critical role in enabling the Sales organization to operate effectively and consistently. This position leads the Sales Event Program, manages centralized sales resources and tools, supports onboarding and internal meetings, and executes cross-functional projects that improve the team’s ability to bring products to market.

This role requires strong program management, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across Sales, Marketing, Culinary, Supply Chain, and other functions. The ideal candidate can balance day-to-day execution with longer-term process improvement in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Event Program Management

  • Lead the Sales Event Program, including event evaluation, selection, planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Manage trade shows, retailer events, sales activations, and other customer-facing events within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Event Promotions, Sports Marketing, Culinary, Sales, and other cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive event strategies and execution.
  • Source and manage vendors and external partners that expand or improve event programming.
  • Oversee sample fulfillment and the distribution, deployment, and return of event materials.
  • Establish the strategy and deployment plan for large-scale event assets.
  • Manage the inventory of physical and digital sales assets in partnership with the Sales Operations Specialist.
  • Travel to support priority customer events, trade shows, and sales activations as needed.

Sales Operations and Enablement

  • Build and maintain the centralized information hub for the Sales organization, ensuring sales materials, resources, and tools remain current, accurate, and easy to access.
  • Administer internal Sales websites and related tools, including content organization and routine updates.
  • Manage Sales onboarding for new hires and provide ongoing tools, resources, and support to the broader Sales team.
  • Plan and coordinate internal Sales meetings, including agendas, logistics, materials, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate training and development programs that strengthen team capabilities and support consistent ways of working.
  • Develop and distribute sales collateral, digital assets, templates, and other tools that support key commercial priorities.

Project and Process Management

  • Lead selected Sales Operations projects and programs identified by Sales leadership.
  • Define project objectives, scope, milestones, responsibilities, and measures of success.
  • Manage complex, cross-functional initiatives by coordinating stakeholders, tracking deliverables, identifying risks, and resolving execution gaps.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other partner functions.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve tools, and create more consistent ways of working across the Sales organization.
  • Ensure completed programs and processes are documented, communicated, and effectively adopted by the team.

What Success Will Look Like

  • Sales events are strategically prioritized and executed on time, within budget, and to a consistently high standard.
  • Event schedules, cross-functional responsibilities, samples, and assets are proactively managed.
  • Sales tools, materials, and internal resources are accurate, current, organized, and readily accessible.
  • New employees receive a consistent and effective onboarding experience.
  • Internal Sales meetings are well organized and result in clear communication and follow-through.
  • Cross-functional projects achieve their objectives, milestones, and intended business outcomes.
  • The Sales team is better equipped to execute in market because of improved tools, processes, and operational support.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Five or more years of experience in sales operations, event management, program management, project management, or a related field; CPG experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing trade shows, customer events, meetings, or other large-scale programs.
  • Strong project-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Experience developing and maintaining centralized resources, sales tools, or internal information platforms.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint or similar content-management platforms preferred.
  • Experience with Wrike or another project-management platform preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for priority events and meetings.

Location and Travel:

The position will be based onsite in Walnut Creek, CA. We strongly believe in the power of culture and community and have a hybrid work structure with 4 days in the office on a weekly basis to encourage collaboration and personal connections that will allow us to better serve our customers and consumer and to have more fun. Fridays are flex days with employees having the opportunity to choose to be either in the office or to work from home based on what makes most sense for them.

Pay Transparency

The expected starting salary range for this role is $115,000- $125,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.

SEASONED FOR SUCCESS:

  • No two days here are the same.
  • We try to be good team members and good communicators, but we don’t live by hierarchy and structure - everyone is a difference maker here.
  • We make a lot of decisions in the face of incomplete information - our team embraces ambiguity and tries to make good decisions fast rather than great decisions slow.
  • We believe our job is to take smart risk, not to eliminate risk.
  • We believe in growing our skills and becoming a better company with more managerial expertise, but we are an entrepreneurial company at heart.
  • We aren’t trying to be average - we want to do exceptional things, and we are willing to work hard to achieve them.

BENEFITS THAT BRING MORE TO THE TABLE:

We offer a range of total rewards that may include paid time off, 401k, bonus / incentive eligibility, equity grants, competitive health benefits, and other family-friendly benefits, including parental leave. Kinder’s benefits vary based on eligibility and can be reviewed in more detail during the interview process.

OUR RECIPE FOR BALANCE:

We believe great culture starts with people. We’re a people-first company built on connection, collaboration, and balance. Most of our work happens in the office to spark creativity and community, but we also offer flexibility so team members have the autonomy to work outside the office when needed to support their work-life balance and personal commitments.
