Kinectrics is a Toronto-based engineering, testing and inspection company providing life cycle management services to the nuclear, renewable, transmission and distribution sectors of the electricity industry, as well as to the medical isotope field. A wholly owned subsidiary of BWX Technologies, it runs laboratories and offices across Canada, the US, the UK and Romania, supporting utilities such as nuclear stations in Ontario and New Brunswick. It hires electrical, piping and mechanical engineers, radiation protection supervisors, transformer service specialists, drafting staff, students and administrative and purchasing staff.
