Fullstack Developer - Java

We are looking for a Full-stack Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, high-quality applications across the front-end and back-end. You will work closely with product managers, designers, business resources, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions that are reliable, secure, and user-centric. This role will support insurance platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end web applications (frontend + backend).
• Build responsive, performant user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and data models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design sessions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Contribute to improving engineering processes, tools, and standards.
• Monitor integration jobs, resolve errors, and perform root-cause analysis with senior analysts or architects.
• Participate in code reviews, data mapping exercises, and testing cycles for new integrations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (React / Angular / Vue).
• Experience with backend development using languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experienced in DevOps concepts and practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Experience in CI/CD practices, unit test best practices, and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred skillset:

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Understanding of security, authentication, and authorization best practices.
• Prior experience working in agile or scrum teams.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or asset management.
• Familiarity with policy administration systems, annuity products, institutional contracts, or insurance accounting concepts.
