IT Infrastructure Manager

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Strategy: Develop and implement the organisation's IT infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
• Align infrastructure initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
• Network Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the organisation's network infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of network services.
• Server and System Administration: Manage server infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, and virtualisation platforms.
• Implement and maintain system configurations, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
• Cloud Services: Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud services and solutions (eg, AWS, Azure) to meet business needs.
• Ensure a seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, protocols, and best practices.
• Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and compliance requirements.
• IT Operations: Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including help desk support, system monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT-related challenges.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget.
• Optimise costs and resource utilisation.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Graduate -B Tech/ MCA/B Sc.
• Working experience in IT infrastructure for 15-20 years.
