Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues promptly.
  • Debug Java applications and identify the root cause of bugs and technical issues.
  • Perform bug fixing and code-level troubleshooting in existing Java applications.
  • Analyze application logs, stack traces, database queries, and system behavior to identify issues.
  • Understand existing codebases and make small to medium-level code changes/fixes.
  • Monitor production issues and ensure timely resolution based on severity and business impact.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Support teams to understand reported issues and provide technical solutions.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for recurring issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
  • Perform regression testing of fixes and coordinate with QA before production deployment.
  • Support application releases and deployments when required.
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to application stability and performance.
