Join our team as a Controller, where you'll own and scale our accounting function, drive operational and technical transformation, and lead our accounting team. This hands-on role requires expertise in U.S. GAAP, NetSuite workflows, and AI-powered automation. You'll be responsible for the complete accounting function, including monthly close, financial reporting, accounting operations, tax compliance, audit and controls, and the accounting technology stack. Your impact will be multiplied through the use of technology and automation, and you'll have the opportunity to position the accounting function as a strategic enabler of business growth.
Missions
- Own and continuously improve the financial close process, reducing close time and increasing accuracy and team confidence.
- Design and implement automation to eliminate manual accounting work, leading to significant time savings.
- Lead and develop the accounting team, establishing clear ownership and standards across all accounting domains.
Profil recherché
- Significant accounting leadership experience, ideally as a Controller or in a comparable senior accounting role- Comfort with modern accounting systems (NetSuite, Ramp, or comparable ERPs)
- Sound judgment about when to build internally, use automation, engage consultants, or involve engineering
- Willingness to use AI coding tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) as part of your day-to-day work
- Strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting expertise
- CPA strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and systems, not just operate them
- Experience leading audits and working directly with external auditors
- Comfortable working with data, APIs, code, and automation
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, complex environment
