The Creative Operations Manager enables the successful execution of creative work at scale by serving as a leader and subject-matter expert for Adobe Workfront, strengthening workflow governance, expanding operational visibility, and building project-management capability across the broader team.

Working within a hub-and-spoke operating model, this role creates the systems, templates, reporting, training, and standards that allow Marketing Managers, Associate Creative Directors, and creative teams to take greater ownership of their projects. The role provides selective project management leadership for larger campaigns, strategic opportunities, and complex cross-functional initiatives where dedicated coordination adds the greatest value.

Success is measured not by the number of projects personally managed, but by the role’s ability to improve Workfront adoption, data quality, self-service capability, portfolio visibility, financial insight, and consistent execution across the organization.

What You Will Do

Adobe Workfront Ownership & Optimization

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Adobe Workfront within the creative organization.
• Configure, maintain, and continuously improve Workfront project templates, task structures, request queues, custom forms, dashboards, reports, views, filters, and notifications.
• Maintain and manipulate project templates to reflect evolving services, roles, workflows, milestones, dependencies, routing, and governance requirements.
• Partner with system administrators and technology partners on platform configuration, integrations, enhancements, permissions, troubleshooting, and release readiness.
• Establish and maintain standards for project setup, status usage, assignments, planned hours, time entry, metadata, and project closure to protect reporting integrity.
• Identify opportunities to simplify user experience and reduce administrative effort through reusable templates, automation, calculated fields, and scalable configurations.

Training, Cross-Training & Team Enablement

• Partner with Director of Creative Operations & Video to design and deliver role-based Workfront onboarding, cross-training, office hours, and refresher training for Marketing Managers, creative leaders, and production teams.
• Enable partner teams to take greater ownership of project setup, planning, status management, timeline stewardship, documentation, and closure within defined guardrails.
• Develop practical job aids, process guides, standard operating procedures, quick-reference materials, and reusable learning resources.
• Coach users through real project scenarios, so knowledge is transferred into day-to-day practice rather than retained within a centralized project management function.
• Monitor adoption and common support needs, then use those insights to improve training, workflows, templates, and governance.
• Build a sustainable self-service model while remaining available for consultation, escalation, and targeted hands-on support.

Reporting, Analytics & Value Visibility

• Build, maintain, and refine Workfront reports, dashboards, scorecards, filters, groupings, prompts, and calculated fields that provide reliable operational and financial visibility.
• Create reporting that improves visibility into recovery, utilization, capacity, demand, throughput, work in progress, project health, on-time delivery, and time-entry compliance.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Five or more years of experience in creative operations, marketing operations, project or program management, workflow management, PMO, or related fields.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience configuring and supporting Adobe Workfront in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Experience building and manipulating Workfront reports, dashboards, filters, groupings, prompts, custom forms, templates, and calculated fields.
• Experience training users, facilitating adoption, and enabling others to assume greater ownership of processes and projects.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to validate data, identify patterns, diagnose issues, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, influence without direct authority, and communicate clearly with both practitioners and leaders.
• Strong facilitation, documentation, problem-solving, and change management skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience supporting an in-house agency, creative studio, marketing organization, or integrated communications environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Workfront resource management, workload balancing, Fusion or other automation capabilities, and platform governance.
• Experience with utilization, recovery, billing, time tracking, capacity planning, or cost-recovery models.
• Experience creating executive-level operational reporting and value narratives.
• Working knowledge of creative production workflows across design, content, digital, video, photography, illustration, animation, and campaigns.
• Experience supporting an operating model transformation or moving teams toward shared ownership and self-service.
