Your Job
As an IT Intern, you will support day-to-day IT operations and provide technical assistance to users at Molex Vietnam. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT Helpdesk, hardware, software, network, and IT systems within a manufacturing environment.
Our Team
You will join the IT team at Molex Vietnam - Hung Yen, supporting employees with daily IT needs and helping ensure smooth and reliable IT operations across the site.
What You Will Do
- Provide first-level IT support to users for hardware, software, and common technical issues.
- Support the installation, setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of computers, Windows, software, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with basic LAN, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting.
- Support users with Microsoft 365 and other workplace IT applications.
- Assist the IT team in managing, maintaining, and tracking IT equipment and assets.
- Record and follow up on user issues, and coordinate with the IT team for issues requiring further support.
- Support other IT operational activities and improvement projects as assigned.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of computer networks such as LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Good learning attitude, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to provide hands-on user support.
- Able to communicate and read basic technical documentation in English.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Previous internship, project, or hands-on experience in IT Helpdesk / IT Support.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or IT ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of basic network and system administration.
- Experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, printers, and other workplace IT equipment.
- Interest in developing a long-term career in IT Support, Infrastructure, or System Administration.
