Molex is seeking a Program Management Manager to lead automotive programs within our Networking segment. In this role, you will guide a team of Project Managers and lead multiple customer programs from planning through launch, helping deliver quality, timing, and financial results that create value for Molex and our customers.
Our Team
You will join the Networking segment within Transportation Innovative Solutions (TIS). Our team works across engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, and other capability groups to launch and produce automotive connectivity solutions at our Guadalajara facility.
What You Will Do
- Develop and empower a team of Project Managers to deliver automotive programs on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer requirements.
- Lead the planning and execution of multiple programs, driving Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) milestones, launch readiness, and adherence to the Product Development Process (PDP).
- Provide clear program and portfolio visibility to customers and internal stakeholders, enabling timely decisions and alignment on priorities.
- Allocate resources across competing program demands to improve execution, profitability, and customer outcomes.
- Identify program risks and opportunities, establish mitigation plans, and drive actions that improve delivery and financial performance.
- Own program financial performance, including budgets, bill of materials costs, and industrialization investments.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators and lead continuous improvement efforts that strengthen program results after launch.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or another discipline applicable to the role.
- 5+ years of experience developing automotive products.
- 7+ years of experience leading automotive launches as a Program Manager or Project Manager, including responsibility for multiple technical projects and approved financial, quality, and timing targets.
- Experience applying project management methodologies throughout the product development and launch lifecycle.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience supervising Program Managers, Project Managers, or other technical professionals, including responsibility for performance reviews, employee development, and coaching.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or master’s degree in program management, engineering, or another technical discipline.
- Experience developing and launching automotive data connectivity systems or automotive wire harnesses.
- Experience applying structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5-Phase, 5 Whys, Is/Is Not, or Ishikawa diagrams.
- Experience applying risk identification and risk management methodologies to automotive programs.
