Molex is seeking a Technical Specialist - FAE Operations & Program Coordinator to strengthen execution visibility and follow-through across High Power Field Application Engineering activities. You will coordinate customer opportunities, engineering deliverables, samples, approvals, actions, and reporting so customer-facing FAEs can focus on technical engagement, solution development, and design-in.
Our Team
The Asia High Power FAE team connects customers with Product Management, Product Development Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to move programs from opportunity and concept through approval, sampling, qualification, and design win.
What You Will Do
- Maintain clear, visibility of FAE-supported opportunities, including ownership, timing, business potential, next actions, risks, and progression through key program stages.
- Coordinate concept and technical activity status across FAEs, Product Management, and engineering teams, highlighting aging, dependencies, missing information, and schedule risks.
- Drive prototype and sample schedule visibility from request and build through shipment, customer receipt, evaluation, and qualification.
- Coordinate customer review and approval of 2D drawings, 3D models, revisions, and technical documentation, ensuring comments and actions reach timely closure.
- Consolidate monthly FAE reports and management dashboards covering opportunities, concepts, samples, approvals, risks, overdue actions, and program progress.
- Facilitate weekly cross-functional reviews and action closure across FAE, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain.
- Use approved AI productivity tools to summarize updates, structure action data, draft reports, identify gaps, and improve reporting speed and consistency while validating outputs against source information.
Role boundary: This role supports but does not replace the customer-facing FAE technical owner. The Technical Specialist provides coordination, data visibility, follow-up, and escalation to help FAEs execute effectively.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience in engineering coordination, technical program coordination, application engineering support, project management, or a similar role.
- Experience coordinating multiple customer, engineering, or project activities with owners, milestones, schedules, and action tracking.
- Ability to read and work with 2D drawings, 3D models, engineering specifications, product revisions, or comparable technical documentation.
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook, with written and verbal English communication.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in connectors, high-power systems, data center power, servers, semiconductors, electronics, or a related technology environment.
- Experience with CRM, opportunity-management, dashboard, workflow-automation, or project-management systems.
- Practical experience using Microsoft 365 Copilot or other approved enterprise AI tools for summarization, drafting, data consolidation, action tracking, and reporting.
- Additional Asian language capability for regional coordination.
