CAD/PLM Support Specialist Mid (m/f/d)

Purpose of the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and solution-orientedCAD/PLM Support Specialist to join our Engineering Applications team within Körber's Central IT organization.

In this role, you will support and enhance CAD and PLM solutions used across the engineering organization, ensuring reliable operations, driving standardization, and contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering applications and processes.

You will support users, configure and maintain Autodesk and PLM platforms, and contribute to the implementation and optimization of engineering application solutions. Working closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, IT colleagues, and external partners, you will help deliver efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions that support product development and engineering activities across the organization.

Your role:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for CAD and PLM applications.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault environments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in CAD/PLM implementation, enhancement, and migration projects.
• Support the testing, validation, and deployment of new releases and system changes.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives within engineering applications.
• Collaborate with engineering, business, and IT teams, as well as external partners, on cross-functional projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and support materials.

Your profile:

• At least 2 years of experience working with CAD and PLM/PDM solutions as a key user, administrator, application specialist, or support professional.
• Understanding of PLM/PDM processes within engineering and R&D environments.
• Experience supporting, configuring, or maintaining engineering applications.
• Good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault.
• Experience with other CAD solutions, such as SolidWorks, is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, both nationally and internationally, to support projects, system implementations, user activities, and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates with alternative educational backgrounds will also be considered if they can demonstrate relevant experience supporting engineering applications, CAD, PLM, or related IT systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage priorities effectively.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of SAP integrations, CAD/ERP integrations, engineering change management, and BOM processes is considered an advantage.
• Exposure to software testing, validation, release management, scripting, automation, APIs, or system integrations is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments is beneficial.
