Service Agreement Offering team is responsible for our global agreement product portfolio, driving growth of our asset base and innovation in our offering and service delivery. Within the team, our Service Intelligence capability turns operational, commercial, and asset data into the models and logic that power smarter decisions across agreement delivery - from prioritization to recommendations. This customer-focused, operationally tuned team supports commercial product development while also supporting the operational and data-driven details of global agreement delivery.
As part of strengthening our data and AI capabilities, we are expanding our team with a newBusiness Analyst role. This position plays a critical role in building the data, business logic, and decision intelligence that enable scalable analytics and AI-driven solutions across our service business.
In this role you live at the intersection of business understanding, mathematical thinking, and hands-on coding. This isn't a role for someone who only writes requirements and hands them off, and it isn't a role for someone who only writes code without understanding why. You'll own the full chain: from business concept to mathematical model, to the SQL logic that runs it in production.
This role is based in Hyvinkää, Finland - but it goes without saying that hybrid work type is a part of our modern ways of working. Our facilities in Espoo are also possible additional location for the work. You will have the opportunity to work remotely 2-3 days/week.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business needs and domain knowledge into clear logical concepts for our Service Intelligence Layer
Design, create, and validate the conceptual models and rules behind our recommendation engines, scoring models, prioritization logic, anomaly detection, and decision-support capabilities
Write and optimize the SQL logic that brings those models to life in our data platform
Create reusable data products, and connect data, logic, and workflows into capabilities that drive real business actions across multiple processes and use cases
Own your logic from first concept through continuous improvement - prototyping, testing, documenting, and iterating as real-world data and business feedback reveal new edge cases
Work directly with business, service, and data stakeholders to understand decision-making needs and operational realities - making sure logic reflects how the business operates
Improve data quality, semantic definitions, and business understanding of data
Use AI tools deliberately and critically as part of your workflow - as an accelerator for coding, exploration, testing, validation, documentation, and user interaction - never as a substitute for your own judgment
Requirements
Business & Data Development Experience
5+ years of experience delivering business-critical data solutions, analytics, or decision support
Proven ability to translate ambiguous business needs into working, scalable solutions
Hands-On Data & Logic Development
Strong SQL skills and the ability to translate mathematical and business concepts into production-grade logic
Experience building business rules, scoring models, or decision logic - not just analysing data
Ability to rapidly prototype and validate ideas before scaling
AI & Modern Development Mindset
Practical, hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate development and analysis
Demonstrated ability to significantly increase productivity through effective use of AI-assisted development and analysis tools
Validates AI output critically, and knows when simpler logic is the better answer
You will be successful in this role if you bring an ownership mindset and a pragmatic way of working. You are comfortable collaborating across business, data, and technology teams, and you know how to challenge assumptions, simplify complexity, and stay focused on outcomes. You also communicate clearly and work effectively with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
