Design, build, enhance and support secure, reliable software solutions and integrations for operationally important technology environments. Contribute to technical design, quality and mentorship.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and maintain scalable software applications and services.
- Translate functional and business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to architecture, system design and integration decisions.
- Build and maintain APIs, data integrations and database components.
- Review code, improve performance and resolve complex defects.
- Support CI/CD, release quality, security and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with analysts, operations and infrastructure teams; mentor developers.
Proposed candidate requirements
- Relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Indicatively 5–8+ years in commercial software development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in the confirmed core language and framework (not yet specified).
- SQL/database proficiency and experience with REST APIs and integrations.
- Git, automated testing, CI/CD and Agile delivery exposure.
