Responsibilities:

  • Understand the requirement in detail and perform quality tasks, encompassing functionality testing, API integration, microservices, and mobile app testing.
  • Ownership of end-to-end delivery from the quality perspective.
  • Build tools and frameworks to support testing and automation.
  • Ability to come up with core scenarios to deliver a great product to our end users.
  • Delivering great software with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Analyse software quality requirements and test plans.
  • Understand object-oriented programming and working with test automation frameworks.
  • Execute and maintain the automation test suite to ensure the desired level of quality and test coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with the scrum team to drive testability in solution design and promote best test engineering practices in the development process.
  • Assist the team in automating test case identification and code review.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with an Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps environment.
  • Proven experience in test development with Java and Python.
  • Experience in API testing and validating REST/SOAP services using RestAssured and HTTP Client.
  • Experience in automation testing of mobile native and hybrid applications using Appium.
  • Hands-on experience in building advanced automation tools and frameworks.
  • Understanding of financial markets and experience in testing of banking software are a plus.
