We're looking for offshore Associate Data Engineers to support pipeline development and testing under senior guidance, with a focus on data profiling and load validation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pipeline development and testing tasks under senior engineer guidance.
  • Perform data profiling to understand source data structure, quality, and anomalies.
  • Perform load validation and reconciliation counts to confirm data completeness/accuracy.
  • Assist with basic transformation logic and bug fixes under code review.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-8 years.
  • Skill Set: Snowflake, SQL, DBT.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Snowflake and SQL.
  • Solid SQL fundamentals: joins, aggregations, filtering, and basic window functions.
  • Attention to detail for data profiling and validation work.
  • Ability to read and follow existing pipeline/transformation code.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Exposure to IICS, DBT, or Airflow.
  • Prior internship/junior experience in data engineering.
  • Familiarity with data-reconciliation practices.
  • Basic scripting experience (Python or similar) for validation utilities.
