The Role
Your Role
As a Portfolio Manager, you will shape and govern a portfolio of programs and projects that support customer outcomes and business priorities. The role balances strategic planning with hands on portfolio oversight, ensuring work is prioritized, risks are managed, and delivery remains aligned to agreed objectives. You will operate as a central point of coordination across delivery, technical, and account teams, using data and structured governance to drive predictable outcomes and continuous improvement.
What you will do
Serve as the primary liaison between the CIO organization and India Market leadership, ensuring CIO capabilities, investments, and technology initiatives are closely aligned to India business priorities, growth objectives, and client needs.
Partner closely with the India Country President, market leadership team, and business units to shape demand, identify opportunities, and translate business strategies into actionable CIO roadmaps and technology initiatives.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Kyndryl India, influencing decisions, driving collaboration, and ensuring business outcomes remain at the center of technology investments.
Represent the CIO organization externally with strategic customers, partners, and industry stakeholders, communicating Kyndryl's technology capabilities, roadmap, and transformation vision.
Meet directly with customers to understand business challenges, gather market insights, and showcase CIO capabilities through Kyndryl Customer Zero stories, demonstrating how Kyndryl leverages its own technology solutions to drive measurable business results.
Drive adoption of CIO technology solutions and digital capabilities across the India market, helping business leaders understand how technology can accelerate growth, productivity, and client value.
Act as a strategic advisor to both business and technology leaders, translating customer and market feedback into priorities that influence CIO strategy, capabilities, and investment decisions.
Oversee the portfolio of technology initiatives supporting the India market, ensuring strategic alignment, value realization, timely execution, and effective risk management.
Establish and monitor KPIs that measure business value, stakeholder satisfaction, technology adoption, and overall market impact. Lead organizational change initiatives that support new technologies, business processes, and ways of working across India.
Champion innovation and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to create competitive advantage, enhance client engagement, and strengthen Kyndryl's market position in India.

Required Skills and Experience
- Experience managing a portfolio of projects or programs within a technology or services environment
- Proficiency with portfolio and project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, or hybrid models
- Ability to assess complex delivery scenarios and make data driven prioritization and trade off decisions
- Experience working with delivery leaders, technical teams, and account stakeholders
- Skill in tracking and reporting portfolio performance using metrics, dashboards, or management reviews
- Experience identifying and managing cross project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints Preferred Skills and Experience
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, ITIL, or Six Sigma
- Experience in technology domains such as cloud, infrastructure, application services, or network services
- Experience with stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution
