Requirements
• 2 years of professional experience in Java backend development
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API integrations
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including data migration and optimization
• Familiarity with authentication & authorization flows (JWT, OAuth)
• Understanding of caching, load balancing, and scalability concepts
• Knowledge of Git and Agile/Scrum development environments
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred (bonus) skills
• Experience with Kotlin
• Experience with POS systems, fintech, or retail applications
• Exposure to AI-based loss prevention or CCTV/IP camera integrations
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Key responsibilities
• Design and develop robust backend APIs and services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
• Apply SOLID, DRY, and Hexagonal architecture principles to build scalable microservices
• Optimize backend systems for performance, security, and reliability
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and backend teams to deliver new product features
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with proper documentation
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD integration
Education- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
- At least 2 years
