Robot System Engineer

• 로봇 전체 시스템 아키텍처 설계(기구, 액추에이터, 전장, 센서, 컴퓨트, 통신) 및 서브시스템 간 인터페이스 정의
• 시스템 요구사항과 예산(전력, 열, 무게, 통신 대역폭·지연, 안전) 수립 및 관리
• 기구·전장·펌웨어·제어팀과 협업하여 하드웨어·소프트웨어 통합(bring-up) 및 통합 테스트 주도
• 모터·드라이버·엔코더·센서 연동, CAN/EtherCAT 등 통신 구성, 하네스·배선 설계 검토
• 서브시스템을 넘나드는 문제의 근본 원인을 로깅·계측 데이터 기반으로 분석하고 해결
• 신뢰성·내구 시험 설계 및 고장 모드 분석(FMEA)을 통한 리비전 개선
• 고객 현장 배포, 커미셔닝, 현장 디버깅 수행 및 현장 피드백을 설계 요구사항으로 전환
• 아키텍처 다이어그램, 인터페이스 명세, 통합 절차서, 테스트 리포트 등 시스템 문서 작성 및 관리
• Design the overall robot system architecture (mechanics, actuators, electronics, sensors, compute, communication) and define interfaces between subsystems
• Set and manage system requirements and budgets (power, thermal, weight, communication bandwidth/latency, safety)
• Lead hardware-software integration (bring-up) and integration testing with the mechanical, electrical, firmware, and controls teams
• Integrate motors, drivers, encoders, and sensors; configure communication buses such as CAN/EtherCAT; review harness and wiring designs
• Find and fix the root causes of cross-subsystem issues using logging and measurement data
• Design reliability and endurance tests, and drive revision improvements through failure mode analysis (FMEA)
• Deploy, commission, and debug robots at customer sites, and turn field feedback into design requirements
• Create and maintain system documentation: architecture diagrams, interface specs, integration procedures, and test reports

Requirements

• 로봇 또는 메카트로닉스 시스템 개발·통합 관련 3~7년 경험
• 기구, 전장, 펌웨어 중 하나 이상의 깊은 전문성과 나머지 영역을 함께 디버깅할 수 있는 폭넓은 이해
• 실 로봇 하드웨어를 bring-up부터 동작까지 통합·검증한 경험
• 오실로스코프, 멀티미터, 로직 분석기 등 계측 장비 활용 능력
• Python 또는 C/C++ 기반 테스트 스크립트 작성 및 데이터 로깅·분석 역량
• 고객 현장(공장, 물류센터) 출장 및 현장 작업 가능
• 기계공학, 전기전자공학, 메카트로닉스, 로봇공학 관련 학사 이상 또는 그에 준하는 경험
• 3-7 years developing and integrating robotic or mechatronic systems
• Deep expertise in at least one of mechanical, electrical, or firmware, with enough breadth to debug across the others
• Hands-on experience integrating and validating real robot hardware from bring-up to operation
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
• Ability to write test scripts and log/analyze data in Python or C/C++
• Able to travel to and work at customer sites (factories, fulfillment centers)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering, or equivalent experience

우대사항 (Preferred)

• 휴머노이드, 4족 보행 로봇, 매니퓰레이터, 모바일 매니퓰레이터, AMR 등 로봇 제품의 시스템 통합 경험
• 모터 제어 모드(position / velocity / torque / MIT mode 등)와 액추에이터 특성에 대한 이해
• CAN, EtherCAT, RS-485 등 산업용 통신 및 실시간 제어 시스템 경험
• ROS/ROS2 기반 시스템 통합 경험, MuJoCo·Isaac Sim 등 시뮬레이션 환경 경험
• 전력 시스템(배터리, BMS, 전원 분배) 또는 열 관리 설계 경험
• 로봇 안전 규격(ISO 10218, ISO 13482, ISO 3691-4 등) 또는 기능 안전에 대한 이해
• 프로토타입에서 양산으로 넘어가는 과정(DFM, 품질 관리, 공급망) 경험
• 직접 통합한 시스템과 그 설계 결정을 보여주는 포트폴리오(사진, 영상, GitHub, 블로그 등)
• System integration experience on robot products such as humanoids, quadrupeds, manipulators, mobile manipulators, or AMRs
• Understanding of motor control modes (position / velocity / torque / MIT mode) and actuator characteristics
• Experience with industrial communication (CAN, EtherCAT, RS-485) and real-time control systems
• Experience integrating ROS/ROS2-based systems; experience with simulation environments such as MuJoCo or Isaac Sim
• Experience designing power systems (battery, BMS, power distribution) or thermal management
• Familiarity with robot safety standards (ISO 10218, ISO 13482, ISO 3691-4) or functional safety
• Experience taking hardware from prototype to production (DFM, quality control, supply chain)
• A portfolio showing systems you've integrated and the design decisions behind them (photos, videos, GitHub, blog, etc.)
