Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Software Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our Bluetooth software stack. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve complex BLE issues, implement new Bluetooth features, and work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to deliver robust wireless connectivity solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and enhance Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Host and Controller stack components, including GAP, GATT, and LE Audio profiles.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve customer-reported Bluetooth issues across embedded platforms.
Design, develop, integrate, and debug Bluetooth firmware and drivers using C/C++.
Perform interoperability testing, analyze Bluetooth packets using tools such as Frontline and Ellisys protocol analyzers, and support Bluetooth qualification activities.
Optimize system performance by improving throughput, reducing latency, and enhancing power efficiency.
Collaborate with global engineering teams and customers to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
Ensure implementations comply with Bluetooth SIG specifications and industry best practices.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
10+ years of experience in embedded firmware development using C/C++.
Strong understanding of the Bluetooth Core Specification.
Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Low Energy Controller and Host Stack development.
Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy profiles and application development.
Strong debugging skills involving wireless baseband, Bluetooth protocol timing, and non-deterministic issues.
Proficiency with Bluetooth protocol analyzers (Frontline, Ellisys), logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and embedded debugging tools.
Experience with RTOS, embedded SDKs, and embedded system design.
