Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. NET Core.
  • Build and optimise RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Utilize AI tools to maximise development productivity.
  • Optimize database queries and ensure high performance for data-intensive operations.
  • Implement caching and messaging solutions to improve performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
  • Prepare for and support a future transition to Java-based backend systems.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in backend development using. NET Core.
  • Strong programming skills in C#.
  • Experience with ASP. NET Core MVC, Web API, and WCF.
  • Solid understanding of multi-threading, asynchronous programming, and concurrency.
  • Experience with MySQL, SQL Server, or equivalent relational databases.
  • Strong expertise in SQL programming and query optimisation for large datasets.
  • Familiarity with caching solutions such as Redis.
  • Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS, Azure/GCP).
  • Exposure to analytics, observability, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Strong logical thinking and foundation in software design principles.
  • Willingness to learn and transition to a Java stack over time.
