Responsibilities
- Supervise the team of Advanced Quality Engineers and laboratory.
- Control and validate Quality APQP deliverables in Profile / LearPro.
- Control and validate the development and the update of the control plan.
- Control the submission of the eAPQP to customers.
- Control the preparation of the list of special characteristic supplements-K / SCSS.
- Control Laboratory (internal +USCAR) activities and ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Ensure the problem solving of customer claims related to warranty issues.
- Ensure the follow up of customer scorecards.
- Control the problem solving of customer claims related to prototypes and pre-serial production.
- Control internal defect analysis for prototypes.
- Control the implementation of engineering changes.
- Support the preparation of the internal deviations to ensure adherence to customer requirement and Lear procedures.
- Ensure the self-assessment according to customer requirement (Manufacturing Site Assessment, new RFQ…).
- Encourage the team to propose solutions and to remove the roadblocks.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of Quality Management System.
Experience Requirements
- Bac+5, with at least 5 years of experience within an automotive Industry
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems IATF 16949 (standards)
- Good knowledge of problem-solving tools: ISHIKAWA, 8D, 5WHY, PARETO…
- Good knowledge of Quality Core-tools: Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP…
- Good skills of Team Management
- Ability to work in a high-tempo environment and interact with team members over a wide scope of the organization.
- Good English & French communication skills
