Territory Manager - Projects

We are seeking a dynamic Territory Manager for Project Sales in Agartala to drive growth of our modular switch and switchgear portfolio. The role involves managing end-to-end project cycles, building relationships with builders, architects, electrical contractors, and key government agencies such as PWD, Tripura RD and BCP. The successful candidate will leverage B2B sales expertise to capture new opportunities, ensure technical compliance, and achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory.

• Identify and acquire new project opportunities across builders, architects, electrical contractors, and government departments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with PWD, Tripura RD, BCP and other public sector clients.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals for modular switch and switchgear solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering and product teams to ensure solution fit and timely delivery.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to meet profitability goals.
• Track project progress, manage timelines, and resolve any on-site issues.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior management.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to refine sales strategies.
• Organize product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards throughout the sales cycle.

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering - preferred.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in project sales within the electrical industry.
• Proven track record handling builder, architect, and electrical contractor accounts.
• Exposure to B2B sales and government procurement processes (PWD, Tripura RD, BCP).
• Strong knowledge of modular switchgear and related electrical products.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Indian electrical codes and standards.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
