About the Role :
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright.
- Create and execute API test scripts to validate backend services.
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkinsbased CI/CD workflows, leveraging Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, applying shiftleft testing practices to catch defects early.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define test requirements, review user stories, and provide clear defect reporting.
- Monitor test results, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve test coverage and reliability.
- Contribute to documentation of test strategies, test plans, and quality metrics.
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of QA engineering experience in cloud-scale or enterprise software platforms.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in languages (JavaScript/ typescript).
- Hands-on experience with UI automation (Playwright) and API testing.
- Proficiency integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, Docker & Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and 'shift-left' testing principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of cross-team collaboration.
Preferred Skills & Tools :
- Cloud & Infrastructure : AWS, Azure or GCP services (Compute, Storage, Networking).
- Containerization & Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes.
- Domain Expertise : Familiarity with ERP/CRM platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP) or DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, Vault).
- Security & Compliance : Experience with security testing frameworks or compliance standards (OWASP, GDPR, ISO).
